LEVINE, J.
I have used Bussani services since the mid-80s. I have had all of my van modification work/repairs done there, and I even get my regular service and repairs done there now. In addition, I have bought three of four vans from them over the course of that time. I have been very satisfied with the service and highly recommend them to anyone in need of such services. It is a family owned business that treats customers like family. They have gone above and beyond in helping us, and we have been extremely grateful.

Bussani was professional and friendly. The mechanic working on my car was extremely efficient. He called me over a few times to make sure that the hand control was fit to my personal needs. The guys behind the desk were very helpful as well.

I brought my new car back to the Nissan dealership where I purchased it for its 2,500 mile check-up. When I picked it up, I noticed that the accelerator/brake lever of the hand control was upside down. When I pointed it out, the technician took my car back, and returned it about 10 minutes later. The lever was facing the up, but it was a little loose. On the way home, I called Bussani in Bethpage, and spoke to Service Manager Brian Molina. It was about 15 minutes before they closed, so he asked me to bring my car in the next day. It took about a half hour for them to repair my car. Brian brought me a metal bar that had been bent by someone at the Nisan dealership who didn't know how to use the hand controls, and jammed the brakes down to stop my car. The repairs were done quickly, and the people at Bussani Bethpage, especially Brian, were kind and courteous.

We're so glad we could help, Ivan. We'll do everything we can to keep you safe on the road. Our mobility service technicians really understand adaptive equipment -- which as you learned isn't always the case at your typical auto shop or dealership. We're happy that you're a happy camper with us!
