Build Your Own BlogReviews of buildyourownblog.net

The steps were easy to follow.

Hi All, Mathew Loomis's website Build Your Own Blog has made my own blog possible. He has not only given me the confidence to go for it, but does it in a delightfully fun way. My blogging experience has been a blast and I credit Matthew for much of the excitement. Matthew gives the directions in easy to follow step by step guides, however Wordpress is constantly updating their processes therefore it might be time for Matthew to update his Build Your Own Blog steps for new bloggers. That is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. I do recommend this site. Diane

Your service is superb to start bloggin, I followed your instructions closely and got my blog off the ground. Once you are beyond that stage however, your advice lose power. I felt kind of betrayed, when you changed sponsoring Greengeeks for Bluehost, as a hosting service. While I understand you reasons for the change, I nevertheless couldn't avoid a feeling of betrayal : What happen ? Didn't you say Greengeeks was the greatest ? Besides, the service of Bluehost sucks. They have contracted telephone services with a third party, who then passed the calls to them. Following your advice, I contracted with Bluehost, and then had to cancel because I made a mistake. The cancellation process was too slow and painfu. I contracted again with Greengeeks, even though it was a bit more expensive. I now got 3 blogs hosted with them.

I have found the blog to be full of information about setting up a blog that will be successful. It has given me the confidence to go ahead with my business ideas. All I need to do now is to focus on my plan & move forward. Thanks. Shona

I was skeptical, and had clicked on several other sites, before this one, and found them to be boring, could not hear the video, etc. This site has both the video as well as step by step written instruction. Made it pretty easy for me to proceed. The only issue I had was getting ahead of the game, signing up for the things suggested, and not waiting for the confirmation. Messed up my passwords on those sites for awhile, so I suggest taking one step at a time. Other then that, I had no problems with Matts site.
