Dear Robert, Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback, unfortunately, there are many reasons an item may go on backorder it may be an issue with the raw materials or the quality testing, we have a rigorous testing process in which we test for poisons, toxins, pathogens and more. We do not want to completely discontinue a product due to a delay in the product of the supplement. We do allow you to place items that are out of stock on backorder and they would ship as soon as the product becomes available. This feature is not available on our website because you would be charged right away and we do not want to charge you for an item until it ships. Dear Hugh, Thank you for your feedback. We have already heavily discounted the cost of Vital 3 and this is by there are not many discounts that apply to the Vital 3 Joint Solution. As for the shipping cost, we do offer free shipping if the order is over $49.00 this is only for orders placed in the United States. This is not the case with the International order. Shipping is calculated based on the weight of the package as well as the destination and this is calculated at the time of checkout.
