My 12 yr old son woke me up at 3am three mornings ago not feeling good, his head with congestion etc... I got up and gave him 5 grams of the Vit C powder (had previously, thoroughly, researched about high dosing with Ascorbic acid) ... in a few hours he woke up for school with no symptoms!! Later we learned many kids were out sick from his class that Monday morning. I continued to dose him, a gram in the morn and 2-3 grams in the eve, all with juice. We need to be careful with Ascorbic Acid, food is needed otherwise an onset of digestion issues will could happen like diarrhea. If that happens the dose is too much.
