Literally didn't work when I signed up. Cancelled immediately. Stick with Netflix!!!

Rubbish do not waste money on this - I tried the 30 day free offer through my Apple TV - then I carried on a further month and was charged through my Apple account - then Apple took a further months money......but the service cut off saying I needed to renew. Called “customer service” and was told very abruptly that the problem was with Apple and told to contact them and if I still wanted to watch I would have to pay again through The britbox website. I followed up with emails and told nothing they could do as I had paid Apple and not britbox directly. This is a joke.....they could have sorted out this minor issue internally but they are not interested and obviously happy to lose paying customer - not a way to run a start up company - but this is the BBC after all and clearly they don’t live in the real commercial world as they are too used to licence fee money! Time for changes? I’ve put in down to a bad experience but be warned!

Reasonable back catalogue but impossible to watch on a TV. I contacted them saying watching in a browser is not good on a laptop for family viewing they said to watch in a browser! Awful response and not a good service. I will not be going past the free trial. Doomed to failure in my opinion.

Not impressed. Programmes fail to stream and there are constant interruptions to viewing. Dreadful.

why should we pay AGAIN to see this?? we already have to endure endless repeats ie ZULU every year for our licence fee?

What is the point of BRITBOX ?? Nothing really interesting what from I can see. Cannot find any app that will download onto my smart tv or box. ??? Netflix at the same price is far superior. The BBC and ITV has not thought this one out ... nothing new there then

Not one single programme on Britbox has any subtitles. That means you pay £5.99 a month for no subtitles. I contacted Britbox about this and all you get is "we are meeting the OFCOM requirements for subtitles". I checked on OFCOM website and from what I can understand Britbox only needs to have 10% of programmes with subtitles after 12 months. It even only needs 80% of programmes with subtitles after 9 years. Its a con. Its outrageous in this technological age that a company is allowed to sell TV that discriminates the deaf. I had to cancel the free offer of 30 days and the account due to no subtitles, and like millions of other people we cannot watch TV without subtitles. Stick with NETFLIX and put your money to better use.

Very poor introduction. Why? Because one is unable to view the Britbox library without signing up to a 'free' 30 day trial. So tell me Britbox what are actually offering contentwise for £5.99 per month?
