I was offered a position, and the company diligently contacted my current and previous employers. They also conducted a comprehensive secondary employment check to ensure there were no conflicts of interest, which I am confident were not present. Despite the process taking nearly a month, I was suddenly informed that I could not proceed due to their consideration of my self-employment as a conflict of interest. It is disappointing that all these thorough evaluations were carried out after extending the job offer, resulting in wasted time and missed opportunities. I strongly discourage anyone seeking employment in the IT industry from considering Booz Allen. It proved to be a significant WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY.

I worked for Booz Allen Hamilton for four years on a contract for the US military while based in the Cambridgeshire, UK. I initially thought it was fine. However, their promotion processes were convoluted and unclear at best. I took a position after conferring with colleagues and supervisor that it would lead to a promotion with greater pay. My supervisor failed to tell me it actually came with leadership responsibilities but zero additional increases. Secondly, they simply are not an honorable company. After I left, they informed me they still owe me a substantial amount of money. However, they are unresponsive to my queries trying to resolve it despite waiting close to a year to be reimbursed. If you want to be a contractor in the US intelligence community you can do much better than Booz Allen Hamilton.
