I paid for membership (£295) for the newly opened London blue note club as unsuccessful trying to get tickets and understood that being a member would allow me to buy tickets at earlier release date for members. However, I am still unable to buy any tickets despite being a member. The website says they are available but when I go to buy the tickets, they are unavailable. I don’t know who’s managing to get these tickets, as I set my alarm to purchase the tickets at the earliest release time for members. I have called the number that is given and left messages and no one has got back to me. I have emailed the Help team and had no help at all.I have requested a refund and will update here accordingly.

Saw Ivan Lins in concert, very good!

I visited BlueNote jazz club in New York for the first and last time. Place was so cramped thee was no room at all...four people squeezed into a space for 2. Half of the room had their back to the music. Sometimes they have 4 shows in one evening....it is a moneymachine with no time for laid back jazz...also a lot of noise during the concert as food, drinks, coffee, cake, water, wine had to be served in the little time before people are chased out and the next group coming in.
