Hidden charges if you dont sign direct debit
For some reason, this company (Paisley, New St Branch) are desperate to sign people up for a monthly direct debit for contact lenses. I tried a month ago to get lenses from this company but due to a different set of issues with their direct debit policy I waited. I returned today to buy the £65, 3 month supply of lenses that I was already fitted for. At the checkout the girl explained the benefits of joining their Direct Debit Scheme, she quoted me the price of my lenses, £64.99, the same as they were a month ago. I decided not to go with this Direct Debit scheme as there are no real advantages for me as I was buying my lenses. Suddenly the cost of my lenses jumped £25.00 to from £64.99 to £89.99. This is a scam and these robbers should be avoided. Beware!!!
