Decided to try it out, didn’t want to drive all the way to Walgreens to load my cash app. They took out way more than the 3 dollar service fee and the transaction took longer than an hour or so. The kiosk is super slow. Do yourself a favor and use cash app for cash to bitcoin. I don’t know how these guys are still expanding and even got an IPO. I see no growth in this industry , total ripoff. Idk why they even call it an ATM when last time I checked you most likely use an atm to withdraw cash , not just take it and take huge fees

Drove to three bdcheckout locations. The purple icons. I select the address from the app, select load cash and prepare my barcode. Each retailer refuses to scan the barcode. I can’t get my funds. Bdcheckout and bitcoin depot are scams.

Just to use their service they are taking 24.2% on transactions and do not state this upfront. They are literally using loansharking rates.

This is horrible horrible let me repeat horrible service. This is a scam just know they charge what they call a spread fee plus a flat fee of 3 dollars. Only in the super fine print article 9 of the terms and conditions does it mention anything about this.The service fee will be a flat fee of three dollars ($3.00) and Bitcoin Depot shall charge a spread of up to twenty three percent (23%) of the total transaction amount calculated in USD. The spread refers to the difference between the cash inserted into the kiosk and the current market value of Bitcoin received, excluding the $3.00 flat fee. Like it took me a long time to find this. In the app the legal document would even load wow this guy and his sports cars are going to hell they will eventually shut this down but not until we all get ripped off I guess.

Terrible business practices! Site seemed to infer a seamless and fast 1st time exp. yet when I used the ATM it wasn't until AFTER I inserted my cash that I was informed I needed to contact customer service. I was than told they needed more info yada yada yada but it with only take about 10 minutes. I waited at the store prkg lot over 2 hours before giving up. Its cute been over 2 weeks and nothing but even an explanation when I call. I now use RockItCoin ATMs exclusively, they were very professional, helpful and even helped me get verified a taste way than the standard. I doubt I will ever buy crypto anywhere else tbh

10 hours and I’m yet to receive my bitcoin!! What the hell is going on. Huge fees and still delayed transaction

Very bad ATM and service I hope they get shutdown soon. How you you charge 28% or more per transaction? Are YOU guys Insane? YOU are ripping of your customers heavily driving sport cars with your customers funds when you are supposed to provide a good service. I hope the right regulations check unto this and close this Bitcoin Depot asap! They are ripping off customers money.

Why did I check this AFTER I put $200 in the expensive machine in the gas station. Ugh…. I’m only at 7.5 hours later too. I better get my coin, all I can say. I’ll give them 7 days til I bring the pain…startingggggg now.
