The samples I received in my boxes are definitely not worth my almost $11, half of them I can get for free direct from the company, especially Decembers box was horrible the samples I received were no bigger than my pinky finger and that's not an exaggeration, the five months I had BB maybe 7 samples out of all them were something I would actually like but the samples were so small I barley had enough for one to two uses and that's hardly enough to tell if I really like it, I do understand it's a sample subscription but I pay $21 for my boxycharm to get 5 full size products monthly and they are always amazing so I would rather spend that $11 on something I want to try.

Had a problem/question with an order, offer code wasn't working. Tried chat, and it told me there were 27 people ahead of me in queue. Left the window open and did other things. Got a robo-response telling me they were still working on getting through the queue and I could get an email in 48 hours or something. Really? When you want to order, you want to order now - not wait a couple of days until someone can help you with a problem. I closed the window and never ordered. I LOVE Birchbox, but your "service" is the pits. Hopefully when you guys scale up a bit more, you'll be able to invest in more staff in this area.

Once upon a time, like in a reverse fairy tale, I love birchbox. It had great customer service, great product tailored to my selections and the ability to contact birchbox was great. Then it all went nasty and the products are meh, one of out 5 is good or NONE out of 5. They sent the wrong box and tell you choose it when you prove that nope you didn't. Sadly with the amount of money I spent, my yearly as well as my husband and my sons men's boxes I am going to have to re evaluate if this is the right subscription for us still. Year one was great, year two not so great

When I first subscribed to birchbox, it was a monthly little box of awesome. Now, I think if I get one more Harvey Prince perfume in my box (3 consecutive months) I will go mental. Also, customer service used to be amazing, courteous and personal, whether I reached out through email or phone. Now, they take forever to get to your issue, they obviously don't read English, and they don't solve the problem. I have gotten more answers that began with "unfortunately " from them than anything the last 6 months. Not renewing my yearly subscription when it runs out.

I love Birchbox but have contacted customer service 5 times this year: missing items, damaged items, wrong item sent. I love the Birchbox concept but I won't give it as a gift.

I have been a member of Birchbox for 6 months or so and have LOVED it. I love the samples and anytime I had any problems I could call customer service and my issue would be resolved immediately! Recently, I had to update my billing info with a new card as my previous one was stolen along with several others. I updated it immediately, I was charged for this months box, yet did not receive a shipping notification and now EVERY time I log into my account it says I have to update my billing information. WHAT? I have emailed customer service twice and received the same generic, scripted email both times outlining what happens when you update you billing information. Not one of my question in my email were answered. I have tried to call customer service for three days now and all I get is "Our discovery specialist are currently unavailable....have a great day". Where is the customer service that I loved. It was a reason I chose Birchbox over Ipsy. Very disappointed and feeling stuck.

I loved BB when I first started a few years ago. There were so many options and each box had a plethora of goodies. Now there are maybe 4 things inside and I have had repeats of previous items. Not to mention that the date shipped is always late. I wish they could just come by the first of the month so you could actually enjoy that MONTH'S items. It is a shame. i am probably going to cancel.
