Birchbox is a great service. I love the point system. And i like the quality of the samples.

The sample boxes have a theme but although Birchbox claims your box can be customized, normally it doesn't turn out that way. I have had two or three boxes that might have 3/5 of the samples featured on their preview videos, etc. There are times duplicate products are put in the boxes which means for 2-3 months, you may get similar products. Would love an option to reject certain items for something else ie; lip glosses, black eyeliner, dry shampoo.

Best reward system of any sample box/monthly subscription that I know of. But when I originally signed up there seemed to be more of a focus on cosmetics and now it's haircare, skincare, things like that. So I miss there being more cosmetics in my box.

I have been a Birchbox customer for 2+ years and I can't even explain the excitement I experience when the monthly box arrives. I immediately have to open it to see what treasures I received and I have liked a lot of them. I have purchased Birchbox exclusives and have never been disappointed. That being said, I still intended to cancel my yearly membership this year (except it auto billed and now I'm on the hook for another full year - which is a little frustrating.) So if I enjoy receiving the samples and I purchase full sized products- why would I cancel? Because sadly, I have noticed my monthly samples are getting repetitive and more and more lotion-driven. Every month, it seems like there is at least one sample, I have received in the past, that one brand that I don't care for- but always seems to be present, or a lotion for your face, a lotion for your body and a lotion for your eyes all in the same box. I've enjoyed my Birchbox membership, but a girl only needs so many tiny lotions.

I've enjoyed my subscription to birchbox for the most part. However this 2015 year has been less than stellar. There were months that i was really looking forward to my samples in my box either to find that the box went missing (and my replacement box was horrible--not even in line with my profile) or damaged/destroyed en route. Im still a subscriber, but recent boxes have made me consider discontinuing the program.

I love Birchbox and think out of all the monthly box subscriptions out there, it has the best value and best points system. However, I do not believe they do such a great job of tailoring boxes to a person's profile and when someone writes in that they do not want to receive the same types of products over and over again, they should make note of that. I have received 10 facial products in 2015 when I have repeatedly written to Birchbox that I want "no more than 4 per year" per the profile info. I will never use these, they are a waste. I also feel the sample sizes are getting tinier and tinier every month. Stop being skimpy!

I always love getting these little boxes in the mail. I also utilize the boxes after for pre-schooler crafts. My only complaint is that I have received duplicate sample products within a few months.

I love getting my surprise boxes once a month! While I may not always like everything I'm getting there is always a sample in it that I love that makes it worth it! I have only had a couple problems with your service and everytime I emailed customer service I received a prompt reply and the issue was fixed within 48 hours.
