I am enjoying the Birchbox experience so far, but would be even more pleased if a few improvements were made. First, please do a better job of matching makeup colors and tones with the subscriber's profile. It's not helpful to you or us to send us makeup that we can't wear or really sample because they match horribly with our skin tone, etc. Also, the size of some samples makes them useless. Lastly, shipping is slow and so behind the times. Is it too much to expect delivery within 5 days at max? Maybe so - if it weren't that the normal delivery time from a similar service I use is 3 days.

Positives: Excellent costumer service, good content, wonderful products, nice points system. Negatives: The company needs to improve their profile preferences algorithms, since most of my birchbox samples do not match my preferences nor it takes into account the products I end up buying. It would also be wonderful if it could operate outside of its territories, since I'm not even able to gift my friends all over the world directly. The last think would be updating the reviews system: just because the product is not for me or is too expensive for my taste doesn't mean that is not a good product.

Love the site and its ease of use. My suggestions pertain to the Soho store. Overall I've had good experiences, however there's been a couple occasions where the experience can be a bit awkward. Being a District manager in retail myself with stores in Soho, I understand that LP can be a concern. However, there's been a couple occasions at Soho where the experience feels more like associates lurking after customers resulting in awkward exchanges vs eager associates looking to provide hands-on and personal customer service. At one point I've even been approached by an associate claiming I took a comb off of someone's station and they actually didn't sell that comb, just to have another associate jump in and explain to the first that they did sell that comb and they in fact were displayed right where I had picked it up at. This I already knew as I had put said comb in my online cart several times before, but only made the decision to purchase after seeing it in the store. One example of what's been a couple awkward experiences. With that being said- nothing a little more customer service training can't fix! Overall love the company, the site and the accessibility to brands that otherwise may be difficult to find!

I liked everything in my box this month very much. Appreciate the opportunity to select an item. Would like to see more bath and body products, since that's on my profile. Otherwise, great job!

I love birchbox! Feels like Christmas every time a new box arrives. I love that I can pick samples for my next box. The boxes are so cute! It's a great deal at only $10 a month!

I wish that birchbox points were redeemable no matter how many you have not just by increments of ten. Also I just received a promo code and then a second email saying the first one wasn't valid then the second one I tried to use ended up not being valid.

a good way to learn about and try new products without purchasing full sizes. It would be even better if we could be more specific about the types of products/uses we would like to try or not to try.

Birchbox--I've been with you awhile, I know your Biz School backstory, I've been tolerant and understanding of your growing pains; you have handled them with aplomb. You have grown and developed with very little friction visible to the consumer. Your customer service is always helpful, gracious and talks to you like another beauty/product loving girlfriend (even though she has her Ph.D., she can still rave about her favorite new non-drying red lipstick)--DON'T EVER LOOSE THAT QUALITY OF INTERACTION WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS! But here is the rub--I have had more than one full size product shipment arrive crushed and gooey with its internal contents damaged beyond repair; sometimes part of my order has been missing. And frankly, I kind of feel like a second class citizen out here on the West Coast. I rarely receive my monthly box before the 20-22nd of the month and by that time you have already started sending emails about December product choices etc. The West coast needs some love!
