I really support this company! But a few things about my experience. I did the gut report and didn’t get my results for 4 months (after the initial purchase). I understand that the technology is still new, but it would have been good to know from the beginning (I was told 6-8 weeks, which I assumed would be the entire process from purchase to results. It was about 9 weeks from when the lab received the results, which was about 7 weeks after purchase). Secondly, the review didn’t give me much information on what the results were. I was hoping for an explanation of what the bacteria in my gut are doing. What I received was basically a sheet explaining that I should eat more vegetables (which we all should do, of course). What would be nice is a booklet explaining what the bacteria do in the body/gut that you are testing for. Candida, for example, has a host of symptoms if overpopulated. This info would be very helpful for someone who has Candida issues but hasnt ever heard of Candida. Candida is easy to find online, but the other ones on the test were extremely hard to find online - some I couldn’t find any info on.

I noticed my skin cleared up after taking this for about 2 weeks. It sometimes gives me cramps and a headache though. Might take less of it.

I ordered their Gut Report kit in Sep 2017 and submitted my sample soon thereafter. Their report did not reveal nearly as much detailed information as a uBiome report does. I am relatively knowledgeable about gut bacteria, but did not glean any useful information in my report. I also did not set up an appointment to discuss my report with their clinician, because a friend indicated they use those appointments mainly to sell their probiotics. I do not plan to use their service again. They seem focused on marketing their products.

I like the product but when I called with a concern I didn’t like the response I received.

Haven't noticed any difference since taking this product-actually think I get sick more often : (

I have to be honest, I am pretty disappointed. I was very excited to have this opportunity and my results. The reason for the mediocre score is because the results are technical and not easily understood. Sure there are charts including pie charts of the lab results that show comparisons between what's normal and my gut, but no background information or context explaning the data and results, the importance of certain bacteria and fungi, etc. I did request a nutritionist look at my results and make a recommendation (which is inclusive in the price but you have to make sure to request it in the email with your results). It's been almost the expected two weeks for those to come in. I hope they'll help. If you want a consultation to discuss the results (which most people certainly would), it would be another $50 + dollars. My sister had her gut tested by another company and it was free through insurance. It's one of those cases where the lab results seem to be of high quality, but if the patient can't understand them, what's the point? On another note, the customer service I experienced was great.

I would like to know what fungi are present and the amounts. Also, I question whether the bacteria are live or not upon arrival due to poor delivery practices. I would like a clear expiration date as well.
