You might as well buy online because things aren’t assembled like furniture used to be in furniture stores! And if you break the it trying to assemble it, you buy it!!! Two end tables took my husband, who is very handy, two hours to assemble after paying 1000. For 2 end tables and a coffee table. Just buy online and assemble yourself and save money!

We purchased a $4000 living room suite and was told when it was delivered we was number 2 off the truck we was number 6 we was also told the people on the truck would haul our old couch away . NO that was also not true this was the Marion Ohio store . I NO they are new but maybe they should have a better training period. Very disappointed .

Let me start out by saying I bought a mattress online during covid when you couldn't shop in the stores. I took their test and bought the nicest mattress. Here is the issue... The mattress is too soft. It feels like you roll in the middle of it. I called to use the return policy but guess what I didn't buy the $149 mattress pad they sell and the warranty was voided. Did I mention I bought it online during covid and the website did not specifically say that when I bought the mattress!!! I called and they said they couldn't do anything about it. So I asked to speak to a manager and she said she would have him call me. No I did not get a call back!! So why do you have to buy their mattress pad? Did they resale the mattress you return.... Hmmm something to think about... I bought a $2400 king size mattress only no box springs. Do you think if I knew I had to buy the pad I wouldn't have spent another $150. Do you know even if you pay the white glove delivery you still have to pay another $21 to have the old mattress hauled away.. hmmm I think that should have been explained. But oh wait I ordered online.. delivery guys were excellant. Very respectful. That is the only reason they even get 1 star. I will never purchase another item from Big Sandy!!! Now I am stuck with a mattress for 10 years!!!

They advertise free delivery but charged me 79 dollars for delivery. This is Donna Pratt not Cathy finegod

Not happy with the customer service at all. Had to follow up on my order myself after not hearing back for over a month. The tableni ordered came damage and was told I would have to pay the 30% restock if I returned it. Now waiting on a decision whether they can repair it--whichbis not possible--or get a discount. The wait to pick up the table at the store was over 45 minutes and my husband finally had to ask if the table was ready. Never again will I do business with this company!

They are great when you’re buying. If you have a problem with an appliance your lucky to get it fixed within a month. They make an appointment to come out but they have to order parts after they find out the problem. So it takes a week to come look. Then three weeks to order then another 10 days after ordering the Wrong parts. I suggest buying from a local store that has a parts department like good housekeeping on Main Street in Lancaster Ohio if you live near Lancaster. You’ll be up and running in a couple days.

Saw a couch in the Chillicothe store that fit my bill. As a savy shopper I looked online to find Big Sandy was the most expensive of 10 stores I looked at. I asked about price matching, which the salesperson said they would need the manager to review before approving. Over comes this impolite and unprofessional gentleman. No greeting. No introduction. Just a stare and a quick, “what website?” from him. I showed him the website. He asked where the store was located. Heck I don’t care. $200 less and free shipping and setup. So after a little snort from his nostrils he says “do it” and walks away. No appreciation that I was giving his company a chance to make a sale, although not big money. The salesperson rang it up and scheduled delivery. All is fine. Delivery day comes. One of the pieces is broken. When I worked for a delivery company, we were required to check the merchandise we were loading. No problem says the delivery guy. He and his partner were respectful and apologetic. The one guy said they had more in stock and could probably get it here tomorrow. He said I would get a call shortly from someone at the warehouse. This was before noon. I go about my day, but no phone call by 330. So I called them. They connect me to the Chillicothe store for whatever reason. They know nothing about it. This guy says won’t be till Thursday. But, he tells me it may be tomorrow. I asked if he could find out because I have plans both days. Nope! Must not be in his clearance level. So now I’m sitting here without a couch trying to figure out how I’m going be available for this delivery. Whichever day it may be. And of course they won’t let you pick it up yourself. I already tried that. Got a big fat nope. I would have drove there today and got the replacement. Not very pleased with this experience. Columbus bound next time.

I decided to return to Big Sandy Superstore after having a favorable experience furnishing our living and dining rooms in 2016. We ordered a bedframe through the Lancaster store through a different salesman. Upon delivery, we were disappointed to see that our headboard was not present and that the footboard was significantly damaged. As we had paid over $100 for white glove delivery service, we did not accept the order. We reached out to our salesman, Bruce H., who informed us the bedframe was on backorder, and would likely not be in for 6 weeks. After 6 weeks, I was the one who reached back out to the salesman, and was surprised to hear that it was in stock (I felt that he should have been the one contacting me at this point). Finally, our bedframe arrived in good condition, but had additional bed rails and an additional headboard attached to the order?...An additional 4 days passed after delivery, and I received a call from our salesman, Bruce H., stating that our headboard was now in stock. I should NOT have to be the one informing him that our delivery has already occurred! Unfortunately, we will have to seriously thing twice about returning to Big Sandy in the future or recommending it to friends or family.
