**Misleading Freebie Funnel—The Advertised Download Wasn’t Provided** I followed a blog-train link advertising a specific Bible-journaling and scrapbooking freebie. The site says that joining its Freebies Library is completely free and requires only an email address. After submitting my information, I was told I was in and directed to enter the Freebies Library. Instead, I was sent to a login page without being given a password or any clear way to create a free account. I was then funneled toward monthly subscription options ranging from $14 to $30. After I finally managed to receive a freebie link, it wasn’t even for the attractive blog-train freebie that had originally brought me to the site—it led to a completely different and far less appealing download. This felt like a bait-and-switch designed to collect my email and steer me toward a paid subscription, while never providing the specific freebie that was advertised. Blog-train participants should provide a clear, functional link to the contribution they are promoting. This process was frustrating, misleading & disappointing.
