I went into BetterMind Labs with limited to no experience in AI and Machine Learning. In the 4 weeks I was an intern in this program I learned about gradient boosted trees, gradient forests, Neural Networks such as CNN's and RNN's, and finally transformers. My mentor went above and beyond to make sure my teammate and I were provided the highest quality education in machine learning, and were up to date on the most recent advancements. Bettermind Labs is really good at explaining complex concepts easily, and the emphasis on actually building something and applying knowledge pushed me to go above and beyond with my final personal project.

My experience for the bettermind labs program was great. I learned a lot about AI/ML and how to use it properly. Also with my mentorship, I created a great project that was exciting and very interesting. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend that people join it.

The BetterMind research program was an great experience because I had support throughout the research, writing, and publishing process. My mentor was very experienced and gave specific feedback every time we met to go over progress. At the beginning, we also spent time analyzing published papers, which helped me approach my project with a better understanding of the field. My mentor was also very flexible with meeting times, and was always able to schedule a meeting if I had questions. Overall this program gives you an amazing opportunity to conduct and publish original research with guidance and support from professionals!

Really great way of Teaching students about the applications of AI/Ml in the real world. Their methods ensured that we took out real learnings from the program. The team was most helpful throughout every part of the process, and gave us necessary assistance whenever asked.
