I ordered a John East preamp from Best Bass Gear, expecting high-end boutique quality for €250. Instead, I received poorly assembled circuitry that looks and feels like cheap counterfeit electronics. On top of that, I was hit with an unexpected €70 import tax upon delivery.When I tried to leave a negative review on their website to warn others, Best Bass Gear deleted it. They are actively censoring honest customer feedback to keep their ratings artificially high. Returning the item would cost me another 25% in fees, which is unacceptable. Absolute waste of money.
