I signed my daughter up for intensive private instruction in Hebrew. Berlitz failed to deliver over and over. 1. Berlitz failed to get a teacher in a timely fashion despite multiple weeks of notice 2. First teachers were incapable 3. Office failed to rectify difficulties over and over again 4 Scheduling with one teacher was abysmal it would be a joke if I wasn't paying for it. 5. My goal of giving my daughter basic Hebrew speaking ability failed as the 40 lesson units were not usable before her arrival in Israel for college. 6 Berlitz lied, lied, lied about how they were experts and could do great things and so much to offer based on their years of experience. 7. Berlitz should not teach a language with out a pool of instructors, and trained instructors. 8 Sales team should be fired for misleading promises 9 I took Berlitz for intensive Greek instruction in the 80s, the company as it exists today may share the name, but that's it. 10. on a rating of 1-10, you get a ZERO. How can I put it? Berlitz SUCKS and deserves to go out of business ASAP. Bottom line, it was a waste of money and time.

I'm having a really bad experience with Berlitz. Before enrolling, the agent promised me a full Access to all the units if I hire the 12 months Berlitz flex program. It was until I was enrolled that the Agent "realized" that action was not possible. Instead, they offered me to start in the unit 3. Finally, they decided to unblock the unit 5. All of this without formally evaluating my level. Even if I have tried to adapt myself to all those changes, I don't feel satisfied with the situation. If I'm honest, I feel I was scamed. It looks like the agent gave me misleading information in order to sell the product. Now, they are not allowing me to cancel the program and get a refund and they are not offering alternatives either. The communication with the staff has been unprofessional. I feel so disapointed of Berlitz because I had big expectations of this school.

Espantoso! Me inscribí en un curso online y la plataforma tenía muchas dificultades que fui informando al Personal . Intenté mantenerme pero el sistema me canso por las limitaciones que tenía.No era motivador para nada. Tedioso. Hablé con una supervisora para el retiro . Aparentemente no había problema hasta que empecé a recibir correos de cobranzas . Parece que esta supervisora no corrió mi cese. A los mails de cobranzas yo les respondía diciendo que el servicio prácticamente no lo usé y que lo cancelaba por lo malo del formato . El último correo que recibí me amenazaban de enviar mi cobranza a collectors! Increíble! Te ponen los pelos de punta . Nadie me responde a mi reclamo . Solo mandan correo de cobranzas ! Una pesadilla !!! No se inscriban en este instituto por más internacional que sea ! Sus sistema online es malísimo! Y su servicio de atención al cliente post venta es de terror!! Solo son amables y te persiguen hasta que tomas el curso . Después no te responden . Si quieres evitarte angustias y stress evita inscribirte .

Our teacher was wonderful, but I've been trying for weeks to get Berlitz to call me to set up the next course and I NEVER get a reply. Terribly unprofessional. What kind of company never gets back to you when you want to give them your business?

Berlitz is an authoritarian company with very unreliable benefits including a low hourly wage that is paid upon students attendance. Management is awfull (they do not even pay the parafiscals and lie about it). Managers are new rich who bully well educated teachers without any concern because they have no education at all- people that learnt their language in the street. Street teachers. They even lie about paying for your pension - please be aware. They also lie about your performance - be aware and take note of everything you do! Cuidado ! Berlitz tiene una rotación de personal altísima. Ya nadie quiere trabajar ahí. No pagan los parafiscales - pida los estractos de sus pensiones porque después de los años uno se entera que no los estaban pagando. Anote y tome foto de todo lo que hace porque son mentirosos respecto al desempeño de los profesores para poderlos botar - la administración está llena de venezolanos resentidos. NO VALE LA PENA

I don't know if my French class is one case only or it happens normal for this institute. The class had 10 instructors in total, some substitute instructors are either absence (several instructors) or left half of the class (didn't come back to the class afterwards), not preparing the class, etc. We wrote email and asked in support- help center, got some responses but slow solving the issues and left some issues unsolved. When the instructor left the class, we didn't get any explanation or compensate for the other class hour. When we told them there's too many sub teachers, they just ignored and didn't care much if we could really learn from there. Even when enrolling the class, they arranged the wrong days as my application form, I had to email them to get it right. Overall, it was a pretty bad and wasting time of an experience. Hope it was just unlucky.

Realice el pago de Berlitz Online. (Berlitz México) , pero por situaciones familiares de la actual pandemia de COVID-19, solicite mi reembolso de acuerdo a la cláusula de derecho de retracto ( donde estipulan que se tiene 5 días hábiles después de la compra para solicitar un reembolso) , comparti la documentación solicitada, pero no he tenido respuesta de que si ya está en proceso o cuál es el estatus, solo de que me avisan cuando sepan algo, y esto me genera mucha preocupación.

Almost of our lessons were shorter than normal lesson time. Some lessons ended about only 1hour, others were less than 1hour. I paid the lesson fee that 90minutes per day but could not receive the properly lesson.
