Terrible experience... Thrown into class with all levels Expensive without results

Comenzo tarde. No cuando me matriculo se tardo casi 3 moses...

Berlitz dramatically fell down on my expectations. One teacher was great and professional, both other 3 teachers I had were quite bad (mixing languages, talking all the time vs. making me speak, having a very strong American accent while talking Spanish). But the worst was the way Berlitz handled the scheduling process. No coordination whatsoever. Always forgetting to pass on the word about scheduling, no digital tool to book lessons, and very patchy follow up. It’s really unfortunate considering how expensive the lessons are and how good the Berlitz brand awareness is. If my company didn’t have an agreement with Berlitz, and if I had to pay personally for my lessons, I would certainly not sign up with them again.

Schriftlich zugesicherte Inhalte des Lehrplans werden nicht eingehalten. Seit einer Woche jeden Tag äusserte ich mein Anliegen mündlich und via Email an fast alle Mitarbeiter von Berlitz und wurde nichts passiert. Mir wurde mündlich und schriftlich zugesichert, dass bei der Ausbildung auf meinem beruflichen Bild detailliert eingegangen wird und die Inhalte dementsprechend angepasst werden, dass die Inhalte auf mich persönlich maßgeschneidert werden. Tatsächlich werden bei mir nur Inhalte die aus dem allgemeinem kaufmännischen Geschäftsleben präsentiert die ich so nicht brauche weil ich aus dem kreativen Beruf komme. In dem Lehrerplan wurde falsch erstellt und niemand konnte/ wollte es ändern. Auf meiner Beschwerde hat bis jetzt NIEMAND 1,5 Wochen lang reagiert. Ein Mal wurde der Unterricht kurzfristig am Vorabend abgesagt und letztes Mal wurde der Lehrer in der ersten Stunden mitten im Unterricht einfach entführt und somit wurde der Unterrricht abgebrochen! Schade nur dass es 1,5 Wochen umsonst waren. Sehr sehr teuere Schule die mir nichts ausser Frustration und Ärger gebracht hat. Ich habe gekündigt!

Unprofessional teacher. Just happen to get a bad teacher for my online Spanish course. The teacher was demotivating.

As an IT security professional, I was disappointed to learn after the purchase that Berlitz' online courses require Adobe Flash. Flash has been recognized for years as inherently insecure. Microsoft, Google, and Mozilla (Firefox) have deprecated the use of Adobe Flash and have all announced some time ago that their support for Flash will be ending. A cursory review of Flash's poor security track record will readily demonstrate why all major browser developers have elected to take that path. I requested a refund without so much as looking at the first course from Berlitz. I use my laptop for online banking and paying bills. For me, the risk just wasn't worth the benefit from taking a Berlitz course.
