RICK
Bell and Pollock Champions of the People? I think not!!!
Last year I hired the Bell and Pollock firm to handle a case for me. After sitting on it for six months, their lawyer Jason Sandene told me in an email and I quote: “Rick, I saw your message from this morning. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner but there hasn’t been much to update you on your case. These things take time and there are other cases in front of yours that are priority right now. That being said, we might not be the right law firm to help you with this. We don’t typically handle these type of claims against individuals and I just don’t have the time to move your case forward as quickly as you’d like right now. Let me know your thoughts. If you want, I can send you a disengagement letter and a copy of your file so you can look for a new attorney that more closely fits what you’re looking for. I appreciate your email and acknowledge that you wish to end your representation by our firm effective immediately. I’ll send a letter confirming and a copy of your file to your home address. You should only be responsible for the cost of the skip trace that was run on your neighbor. We specialize in claims against insurance companies, not individuals. However, I think personality differences and the scope of what you were looking for from an attorney is why I suggested it might be better for you to go a different direction. You are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. Mr. Pollock and Mr. Bell appreciate all feedback. I wish you the very best moving forward.” Thanks, Jason Sandene, Esq. Attorney After several attempts to speak with one of the owners which they refused, I fired them. Then today 2-15-20, I received a bill from them for $100.00This “Law Firm” never sent me my case file, as they obviously did NO work on my case. The case was taken on a contingency basis and I supplied my own reports, which were never returned to me. If they don’t normally handle a case like the one I presented, then why waste six months of my time and take it only to do nothing? If this is how “Champions of the People” represent clients, I’m sure the Bar Association would love to hear about this. In addition when you fraudulently bill a client and send it in the mail, it becomes mail fraud, which is a Felony. This will clearly put their license to practice in jeopardy, which would be a good thing for “The People”.
