They were friendly helpful and personable. They were understanding. The staff tried to help in any way possible. They were understanding in every area. There are aspects about weight loss surgery that can be quite scary. They were comforting and helpful in my finances and my surgery day and aftercare. The level of excitement and positivity for your change of life is contagious and comforting. They were AWESOME. THEY ARE AWESOME!!!

I honestly was nervous about going into a foreign territory that I wasn't accustomed to going too. However with an open mind and a strong drive to better myself physically, I took the leap of faith. I was picked up at the airport with my wife and driven straight to the hospital. The hospital felt like I was checking into an amazing hotel. The staff were friendly. The doctors were amazing. The nurses were professional and very attentative. George was my boy the whole time. Rodrigo was great. My doctors were very cool. The bad. They have a lil drain problem in a certain part of the hospital where the smell made me nauseous. However they did move me to a room where the smell was amazing. I tried upgrading to the suite but they were sold out. The rooms were still nice. The internet was a Lil bit shotty and so was the cable. Bring entertainment. Thank God for this experience. Zero problems post op.

I've had people tell me I took the easy way out. Maybe so, but after trying and failing for years every diet imaginal, getting type II diabetes, high blood pressure and severe knee problems, I was at my wits end. The straw that broke the camels back was not being able to play on the floor with my new grandson. If I did get down on the floor, I couldn't get back up. After loosing 105 pounds so far, learning to eat differently, exercising, and not having to take medications any more, I have a new lease on life. I'm happy and I look fantastic. BeLite gave me the opportunity to live out my life looking and feeling amazing.

From the moment I contacted BeLite Weight, I felt I was in good hands. My questions were answered and I was taken step by step through the procedure. Dr. Rod and his team were fabulous. I will start by saying that I have been thinking about bariatric surgery for over 15 years...except I am a chicken, have never had surgery or even stitches, and thought I could do it by myself. God knows I tried. But I guess age and real health catches up to you. As of two weeks ago, I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic and hypertensive. So prior to this I figured if I just closed my mouth and exercise I could lose weight. Well I lost some but not nearly enough. And so our adventure begins. We attended sessions with doctors in our area and I walked away thinking there was no way I was putting my life in the hands of these stuck up and pompous doctors with poor bedside manners. We began looking at alternatives, which now we realized had to be, as neither my husband's nor my insurance covered bariatric surgery. We read many websites, consulted with patients and not to bore you but 1 year later we settled on Beliteweight. There are always things to keep in mind when you chose to travel for surgery and going to another country where you need to cross a border. But if travel is something you can handle and have patience then this is a great choice. From the moment we were picked up until we returned home, I knew I would be writing a positive review. The Hospital is truly clean and modern, doctors top notch, service is unparalleled. The meds really helped with the tiny amount of discomfort we felt. I actually didn't even realize I had been operated on and had to ask! My husband and I did it at the same time in order to truly begin our life together, fit and healthy and begin 2017 on the best foot possible. I cannot say enough about this option. It would have cost us $40k for the two of us in Miami and we simply could not afford that. Today is our fifth day of recovery, ( I do prefer having chosen to take my vacation to allow myself to adjust to the diet and slight discomfort) and we are doing great. We are taking it easy but we have been up and about. These reviews are very helpful and we poured over them. We called or emailed easily 50 people on the list. It is hard to believe but it is true. In fact, it's better than true. My friends who did it locally had drains (there are none), had to intake a solution to do an x ray (we did not, as an endoscopy is performed to verify the sutures have held) and had harder recoveries. I can recommend this option with my eyes closed. And I am happy to talk about my experience with anyone with questions. My nerves were shot in the weeks leading up to this, as people put fears into my head. I always felt safe and taken care of. My blood pressure returned to normal the minute the operation occurred and my insulin checks were always under 100 after as well. I am so excited about our future that I cannot stop planning and imagining all that we will do with increased mobility and less knee and ankle pain. Thank you to Dr. Jose Rodriguez Villarreal and the entire staff at Star Medica. On Dec 8 we changed our lives forever!!! Can't wait to see what the future brings.

My experience with Belite Weight was amazing! Everyone was so helpful when I was trying to get started on my weight loss journey. When I arrived at the hospital it was very clean and everyone there always made sure I had what I needed. The Drs explained everything that was going to happen before they took me in for surgery and then they checked on me several times a day during my stay. My recovery time was very short, I went back to work the week after my surgery. I had the gastric sleeve done and since my surgery date of October 10th I've lost 60 pounds!
