I have multiple health problems, diabetes, high blood pressure and a progressive illness of my lungs (stable) Everything was excellent! my daughter, son and sister were with at one time or the other and they were very impressed with the hospital, the staff, and especially the doctors. I recommend this highly. In fact one of my friends saw my post on face book and she has started to process for approval and pray fully surgery! I had my Gastric Sleeve surgery in Juarez, Mexico at the Hospital Angeles on April 13, 2018. The entire experience from start to end has been beyond exceptional. From the beginning Joanne at Belite Weight sent me any and all information I needed to guide me every step of the way. Instructions on my pre-op diet were very detailed. The day before flying into El Paso the pick up driver called to make contact and was there when I arrived. He took us (my mother went as a guest) across the border straight to the hospital and into the administration desk. Most of the hospital staff knew English more than I thought so communication was not much of a problem. I did download a translator app on my iphone that I later used a little with the nurses. After paying and checking in I was taken to a private room that had a couch bed for my mother. The process went fairly quickly from there. Before I even put my things away to get settled in they came in and drew blood then a few minutes later brought in lunch (a sandwich). The also brought a menu from the downstairs cafeteria for my mother and the nurse called and ordered for her. After eating we went to do x-rays then back in the room an EKG test. One of the Docs stopped in to see me and discuss things briefly. The started the IV that evening in which I have small veins and it was a problem so they brought in a nurse from the pediatric floor who got it in right away. In the evening they brought in dinner for me which I was surprised it was spaghetti. I was thrilled because I had been on a strict 10 day pre-op diet. I was a little nervous so the brought me a sleeping pill to get me through the night. In the morning was the hardest part for me because of course no coffee or food and it was kind of just waiting around. Doc Elmo came in to see me and went over the procedure and gave my mother instructions of what she could do while waiting for my surgery. The wheeled me down to the surgery room, the anesthesiologist talked to me for a minute then I was out. When I woke up in recovery I was taking back to my room and I immediately went for a walk then was given pain medication. The nurses were incredibly attentive and came in every 30 mins to an hour to see how I was feeling and if I needed anything. I'm somewhat of a jokester and was funny with the nurses so I might have gotten a little extra attention or maybe not I was just amazed at how attentive they were. I was in a little more pain than I thought I would be but walking really helped. All three doctors came in at the same time to see me that afternoon. We joked with the nurses at how good looking and handsome they were and laughed about fixing my single mother up! The next day was mostly walking and watching TV. They did have American English channels. Later that day they took me down for a leak test. I drank this god awful drink that I almost threw up and watched it go into my body on x-ray. The x-ray person explained the entire process as we looked at my new stomach and about what happens when you eat and drink at the same time, it was very educational. Doc Elmo returned to see me one last time to discuss any issues or concerns. They removed the IV that evening and started giving me pain medication orally. They also gave me a shot in the arm for blood clotting before flying the following day. I had printed all the post op diet instructions previously sent and brought them with me so when the nutritionist came in that evening we went over it in great detail and thoroughly discussed the food and exercise plan. The next morning we had breakfast then packed up to go home. They brought in my prescriptions and a packet with my x-rays and surgery/hospital records to take home. They wheeled me downstairs and there was a taxi waiting to take us back to the airport. I didn't care for that much being we arrived with a personal driver but we had no problems and it was already paid for. The trip was somewhat tiring but as soon as I got home I took a pain pill and went to bed. The first week of clear liquids wasn't really that hard for me I basically survived off Clear protein drinks, chicken broth and sugar free jello. At the end of my first week Belite called me to see how I was feeling and we went over the second week eating plan. I'm at the end of my second week now and am feeling fantastic. I had no problems with the pureed food second week although I mostly stuck with Cream of Wheat and Greek yogurt, my stomach handled those best. I've been walking between 1-2 miles a day once in the morning and once in the evening with my husband. Belite provided me with a Doctors letter so I can have our HSA pay for a Health Fitness Club that I a joining tomorrow. I am down 19 lbs in 13 days. The entire experience was very professional and I am completely satisfied with Belite. The only thing was in the beginning we were going to finance but it was somewhat flaky so we decided to just pay in full. I'm happy that we did so that it is behind us now. I would highly recommend Belite Weight and the Hospital Angeles in Juarez, Mexico!

It was a Great experience the doctors were very good and informative spoke English most of the nurses were very professional and good at speaking broken English and the facility was good. Jessica was my first contact and has been very helpful and great to go through this process with. Thanks to all of you.

The process was expedited quickly and very smoothly from the first phone call to being released from the hospital. The doctors, nurses, and staff at Hospital Angeles at Cd. Juarez were very nice and caring. The facilities were some of the nicest medical facilities that I have seen. Dr. Rodriguez-Villareal performed an awesome surgery and I have been pain free. Skye, Jamie, and Joanne from Beliteweight have been wonderful with follow ups and answering all my questions. The shuttle drivers were very nice too. Overall, it was an awesome experience and I highly recommend BeliteWeight.com.

I was very scared ~ everything that was told to prior to going was very truthful and was done.. I received a text from the driver as soon as we landed ~ was taken to the hospital~ check in was smooth.. I was even given the opportunity to take a shower ..I did bring my own wash clothes as recommended by facilitator. I was taken for blood and everyone made me feel comfortable and tried to relieve my nerves.. . Everything went smoothly ..The doctors was personable and friendly...

I called BeLiteWeight and they made me feel so much better about medical tourism's great company very helpful and caring.They help me every step of the way left March 17-19 2018 to Juarez Mexico the Doctors there were great and spoke English would go back again nice experience.
