If you are reading this, then you are just like me and researching the possibility of having weight loss surgery in Mexico through Be Lite. Just so you know that this is a completely unsolicited review..I asked them to please send me the link so I can share by experience. I was so nervous going into the surgery, and not because I didn't do my research. My family and friends were the ones who were making me nervous about everything! They all thought I was crazy for going to Mexico to have the surgery...to the point where I almost changed my mind the week before! I am SO glad I didn't and I would do it again in a heartbeat! The whole experience was top notch, from the time they picked me up at the airport on Friday until the Monday they dropped me back off. My husband came with me and he has completely changed his tune and said he would recommend it to anyone. Jaime(pronounced Hy-may) picked us up on Friday(Sergio was off that day) and he was fantastic! He was super friendly and funny...he made you feel very comfortable. We also had another couple with us from California in the shuttle...it was great to have another person who was going through the same surgery! Check in at the hotel was a breeze and the hotel is beautiful. We were on a very quiet and private floor and had very big and very nice rooms. The nurses were some of the best I've ever had and were always very concerned about how I was feeling. The nurse who did my IV was amazing...I didn't feel a thing and it never hurt the whole weekend! The doctors were in every day to see me and always made sure I understood what was happening and if I had any questions. The surgery was a breeze too...when I woke up I didn't even know it was over, I thought I was still waiting to go in! I barely had pain and on Sunday I was allowed to actually walk outside and down the road to the mall. I never had a time where I felt unsafe, in fact I always felt so comfortable. There was plenty of channels on the TV in English and there was a Buffalo Wild Wings across the street for my hubby to go watch sports while I slept(you will do a lot of that in the first few days). It's OK to be nervous, this is a life changing experience, but don't be scared about Star Medica, Dr. Rod, or Be Lite...It's all wonderful and on the "up and up." One of my supportive friends said "You're a smart girl, I know if you get down there and it is even the tiniest bit sketchy you will just turn around and go home." She's right, I would have done that if I felt that way, even for a second...I didn't. It was an amazing experience and it will change your life for the better. Good luck!!!

it was wonderful from the pick up at the airport until one year after my surgery. I have been pleased with my service and my experience from beginning until now. I have NO REGRETS!!! And would like to thank you all for this experience

I had my surgery 1 year ago and could have not been happier. BeLight are great to deal with. Wonderful staff and the surgeons are top notch. Would recommend to anyone.

I had a great experience. Great people. Very professional. Caring nurses. Hospital was great. Conftable and clean room. Great support before and after surgery. I dont regreat anything.

First I would truly love to thank Ms. Joanne and her amazing staff for all the love and support, you guys are truly God sent. Star Medical for making me feel at home and safe. My experience has been so amazing and the weight is steady coming off. Last year May 29, 2015 I walked in the hospital 242lbs and today it's been an whole year May 29, 2016 and I'm 80lbs lighter and feeling amazing I weigh 162lbs and still working on another 20lbs. This procedure was the absolute BEST decision I have made in a long time I feel so much better no back pains and look/ feel amazing. THANK YOU BELITE WEIGHT FOR A BETTER AND HAPPIER ME!

Joanne and her staff at Beliteweight was very professional. The staff was very informative they made getting the preparations for my procedure very easy and everything went smooth. They arranged my transportation from the airport to the hospital and from the hospital to the airport after my procedure . The hospital staff in Juarez was also very professional. The hospital in itself was extremely nice it was like going to a resort. It was a very beautiful facility. The time I spent there was very comfortable. I was there for New Year's. I had very little pain after the surgery it took me a week before I felt normal. I am now at six months since my surgery and have lost 90 pounds. I was at 370 pounds when I went in before my surgery. I was having trouble with my back and my knees my pain isn't near as bad as it was. I had high blood pressure and diabetes prior to the surgery. At 5 months after the surgery my physician took me off of my blood pressure medication and diabetic meds. My only regret is I did not do this surgery earlier. I would like to thank Joanne and her staff and the staff at Star Medica for such an amazing experience. You are providing a very needed service and making it pleasurable and stress-free

I have and will continue to recommend this company to others..especially those in the same boat that I was in: knowing surgery was MY answer but having insurance that didn't cover any type of weight loss surgery. I found BeLite and began my own research in Summer, 2008. BeLite provided me with referrals (names, numbers, email addresses) and I contacted several people with my questions -- I was pretty sure LapBand was what would be best for me, but I learned all I could about Gastric Bypass and LapBand before I decided. I had the LapBand surgery in the end of September, 2008, and am so glad I did. It took less than 2 years to reach my goal. My highest weight was 262, which was in May, 2008; it's now May, 2016, and I stay between 130 & 135. (In August, 2010, I didn't realize I'd gotten down to 123, but that was not good so I had to make an effort to put some weight back on--a 1st for me!!) Anyway, BeLite was THE BOMB. They provided all the tools I needed to do my research and make my decision, scheduled my appointment, sent very helpful pre-op info, and followed up with great information and advice. I knew the people behind the company had my best interest at heart. I received little support from friends and family when I began talking about weight loss surgery but BeLite made it EASY for me to make a decision that was HARD. Just a couple more things!! I had my LapBand in Hospital Angeles in Juarez, Mexico. The hospital was immaculate, the staff members were all attentive & professional (always had someone on staff who spoke English, and my surgeon, Dr Rodriguez, was great! (I also researched him when I was making my decision!). BeLite not only scheduled the surgery, but they scheduled my transportation from airport to hospital, from hosp to hotel, AND the first 24 hours after I checked into my hotel, they called 3 times to check on me! I'm so happy I made this decision! I love how I look and feel 💝
