Lying to customers, be aware
I've been a long time customer of beadaholique. I learned so many of my first skills from their tutorials, so when they first announced in 2022 they were closing I was naturally upset. Good news was they found new owners at the last minute and reopened. Until... Last June. They announced they were closing again. Huge sales including up to 50% around Christmas time. I had been shopping trusted sites like Eureka Crystal Beads, Potomac Beads, and Off the Beaded Path in the switch because I was disappointed by the"new" beadaholique, but picked up a bunch of supplies in the "closing." Fast forward to September 2026, I was looking for a specific Toho color/size and it was listed on Beadaholique for sale. I was also extremely surprised to see no more mentions of closing and, in fact, mentions of new stock! Curious, I searched for delicas, which experienced beaders will know are a product that wouldn't ordinarily be in stock in a store that was closing. There were a ton of options to choose from! They aren't closing at all. Beadaholique's social media also has the digital proof of this - easiest to find on their Instagram. The goodbye note on June 10, tons of posts of goodbye sales, and a turn around in the new year with no explanation and current content. I'm not sure what is going on there, but there are many better bead stores to give your money.
