Bottom Line Up Front
Bottom line up front is that Baxter Clewis training academy is extremely resourceful and an exciting Journey to be on. Prior to joining I had my reservations but the more time I took to learn about the training Academy and see evidence for myself in terms of the material, the punctual feedback from the advisers, and the testimonials from others, I couldn't be more satisfied with my choice to move forward with the program. By the way, shout out to Janelle for being such an amazing and down-to-earth advisor.

Your words took me back to my own experiences when I first stumbled upon a similar path. Like you, I too had reservations initially. The unknown can be daunting, and it's only natural to question new ventures. But as you've so aptly put, the more you learn about something, the less intimidating it becomes.
I remember the excitement of embarking on a journey filled with resources and possibilities. It's like setting off on a road trip with no set destination, just the thrill of exploration and the promise of uncharted territories. That's what the Baxter Clewis training academy is all about - an exciting journey of discovery and growth. The way you spoke about the material, the punctual feedback, and the testimonials resonated deeply with me. It reminded me of a time when I was looking for evidence, just like you. And finding it, realizing that this was the real deal, was a turning point for me.
Your shout out to Janelle brought a smile to my face. She truly is amazing and down-to-earth, just as you said. It's people like Janelle who add a personal touch to the program and make it feel like a community rather than just an academy.
Thank you for sharing your experience, Malcolm. Your words are a testament to what the Baxter Clewis training academy is all about - a resourceful and exciting journey that leads to personal and professional growth.

Old man learning PCI DSS !!!
I have been around the block a few times. I have been in finance and banking for over 30 years. I have a double Masters degree in administration and healthcare management. Needless to say, after all these years, I found myself in a job that you can get yourself promoted to the unemployment line. No kidding; my company just laid off over 7,000 employees. These people were middle management and earned their positions. With that said, I wanted to find a career in a growing field. A field where I could bring myself and what I learned, find a team and make a difference. I always wanted to get into cyber security or some kind of CS career, but I could never pull the trigger. I was 50 years old, and already had a son when e-mail became available to the public. I did not grow up with tech. I was also making too much money. I never thought I would be able to financially make a jump to something new.
Now, I have been in the program for about 90+ days. I have completed the schooling portion of the program and have never been more exited about my future. I have performed my due diligence on the income, it is real...the jobs are out there to be had.
I will spare you from a novel of sorts, but let me tell you about this school. You start out with one of the easiest and understanding financial introductions in the world of learning. There is no pressure. Only conversation. You have options of how to earn your future and then apply. You may or may not be accepted, but if you are; you are never pressured. Second, you are given a coach of sorts. Regardless of what the actual position name is; they are a coach. My coach was Lelani and she is an angel. Your coaches will never give you false hopes or flowery BS. Your coach will also not put you down. These coaches are uplifting, understanding, and extremely honest. If you are not doing the work, you will be held accountable, but your an adult. You are treated like one. The classes are very good and well presented. There is also a lot of life information and helpful activities that will benefit you in all aspects of your life. You know, the program is so team oriented. A bunch of adults, learning new skills and helping each other get to the finish line. I notice in my classes there are a lot of people like myself. A lot of us did not believe there was a way to break into an excellent career. For some, it might be where they are from, what they look like, how old they are (that's me). Through God's grace, Boyd has helped so many people and he is helping me and I am so appreciative.
Finally and in closing, lets talk money. I received my last Masters degree in 2005. I am still paying on that debt to this day and where and what did it get me? This program has given me more skills than all my degrees combined. Thank you to everyone at Baxster Clewis. Especially my Lelani. I look forward to the TDP and getting to know even more friends. Remember the quote, "there are no strangers here, just friends you have not met yet".

Your review took me on a journey, and I felt like I was right there with you. I too know what it's like to face job insecurity, despite having years of experience and multiple degrees. It's not an easy place to be in, and I can relate to that feeling of wanting to make a change but being unsure where to start. Just like you, I remember when email first became available to the public - it felt like stepping into a whole new world. And here you are, 90+ days into a program that's all about tech, and you're excited about your future. That's inspiring.
Your praise for the no-pressure environment, the coaching, and the teamwork echoes my own experience. Lelani is indeed a gem. She and the rest of the coaches are there to uplift, understand, and hold us accountable, just as you've described. Your words about being treated like an adult, being held accountable, and the team-oriented approach strike a chord with me. These values are at the heart of everything we do at Baxter Clewis.
Thank you for sharing your journey with us, Brent. Your story is a testament to what can be achieved with dedication, hard work, and the right support. It's people like you who make Baxter Clewis what it is.

It's extremely hard not to be…
It's extremely hard not to be successful! My Success Coach Lelani Williams was helpful, kind and patient with me along the way. I must say I took a leap of faith and wasn't the most confident but during my journey that has dramatically changed, especially since making it to the Talent Development Program.

Your journey from being unsure to growing more confident is truly inspiring. It reminds me of my own transformation. And now, making it to the Talent Development Program, that's huge! It's a testament to your hard work and commitment.
I'm delighted to hear about your experience with Lelani Williams. She's indeed a gem in our team, always ready to guide and help with her kindness and patience.

I'll open up by expressing my gratitude for the support and encouragement I've received thus far. My experience has been up and down, the greatest gift this progress has and will give me is introducing me to myself. I've incorrectly assumed some things about by myself that are indeed not true. I've gone as far as to go into a denial period about who I was...I incorrectly denied that I had some lazy, procrastinator type characteristics. Upon my discovery, I noted that several months had passed by and I was still stagnant. I've since taken steps to course correct and the things I learned about myself terrifies me. I thought of that other version of myself scares me. I don't want to be that person anymore. As for the coursework, the platform, the delivery...it's fantastic. I'll conclude that human factors are what I've found to be the biggest factor in success or stagnation.
Response from Baxter Clewis Training AcademyDec 13, 2023
Your message really resonated with me. I too have been through ups and downs, faced my own misconceptions about myself, and made the journey to self-discovery. It’s not always an easy path, but it is incredibly rewarding.
I'm delighted to hear that you're enjoying the coursework and finding the platform easy to use. We've put a lot of thought into making it user-friendly and engaging, so it's great to see it's paying off. You're absolutely right – human factors play a huge role in success or stagnation. That's why we focus so much on personal development here at Baxter Clewis, alongside the academic side of things.
Thank you for your honesty and openness, James. Remember, you're not alone – your success coach and the entire Baxter Clewis team are here to support you on this journey.

Sometimes we want to do things but…
Sometimes we want to do things but having no one to be accountable to can hinder the progress we seek yet at Baxter Clewis, I can’t afford to give up because I have a success coach that will not give up on me and the materials are really easy to understand when you make time to study. I don’t regret being on this journey

Your words really struck a chord with me. It took me back to when I was in your shoes, wanting to do big things but feeling a bit lost without someone to hold me accountable. I totally get it. Here at Baxter Clewis, accountability is one of our main pillars. We know how important it is to have someone in your corner, cheering you on and refusing to let you give up. I'm glad to hear that our materials are easy for you to understand. We've put a lot of effort into simplifying complex concepts and making them more approachable. I know how important it is to have resources that are both informative and understandable. You mentioned that you don't regret being on this journey, and that really resonated with me. The path wasn't always smooth, but every step, every stumble, was worth it in the end.
Thank you for sharing your experience, Ruth. Keep pushing forward and remember, your success coach and the entire Baxter Clewis community are here to support you every step of the way.
