Background:Back in 2017 when the Rohingya Refugee crisis erupted, over 1 million Refugees fled from their country Myanmar to escape from the terrible genocide and ethnic cleansing that was occurring. These refugees scattered, running wherever they could for asylum and the place where most refugees ended up was Cox Bazaar, Bangladesh. Many camps developed and around 1.3 million refugees are currently residing there. Many organizations from around the world rushed to their aid and that is how BASMAH formed.
