BaseLang is the best. The teachers are top-notch. They are all so patient and helpful. I love the curriculum and the option to decide what I want to do during the lesson. It’s a great value for the money. It’s really helping me get over my fear of conversing in Spanish.

A Well Laid Out Program!
I think that many people will find enjoyment and learning from both the program and the people who make this possible. I am finding it enjoyable to learn the language structure in the real world program. The program is interesting and seems well edited for such a complex set of slides, audio and games embedded. It must have taken a great amount of effort to get it to this level. The response from the team is quick.

I love baselang. I recommend it to all my friends. It's great to have the flexibility to book classes with teachers on-demand. Plus all the teachers are very nice and helpful.

Great platform to break the Beginner plateau
I have been learning Spanish on and off for years, but have struggled to get past the basics. I've completed Pimsleur & Michel Thomas, but could never have a conversation.
I decided that in my 62nd year to try to become fluent. This was in part after my partner was robbed in Malaga and we felt helpless.
Roll on a few months and I enrolled with Baselang.
It has been brilliant, I am semi retired so can fit in around 1.5hours per day ( my brain shuts down if I do more )
After around 10 weeks, we never speak English in my lessons ! An amazing achievement!
I think the curriculum is very complete, although I spend more time talking about loads of things. ( politics, food, climate change, unemployment, terrorism, social media 3rd )
Most of the teachers are great, good fun & friendly. Some struggle to explain grammar concepts, some are interrupted by their kids, dogs barking etc... But not very often.
I'd would heartily recommend baselang if you can commit to say 30+ hours/month.

I love Baselang!
I love Baselang. I started classes eleven months ago as a complete beginner and am currently on level 6/9. I complete an hour of classes per day (Monday-Friday), excluding vacations, and think that the curriculum, the instructors, and the ability to schedule 1:1 classes at any time is fantastic. The cost per class for me adds up to be about $7 for one hour of 1:1 teaching ($150/month / roughly 20 hours of classes per month) - where else could I get that price for 1:1? Highly recommend.

Zero to Hero in 1 year!
Baselang is great! I have taken my Spanish from zero to absolutely conversational in 1 year! I wouldn’t say that I was fluent, but I can communicate effectively in a variety of topics. I never did many of the lessons, just the ones that felt helpful, so I haven’t progressed in their model, but I have had many conversations and lessons with their teachers outside of the prescribed lessons. The only thing I would say is that many times some teachers that I have formed relationships with just disappear; their employment with Baselang ended and I have no idea what happened. This would never happen if you were contracted with the teacher directly, but the model necessitates that happening, I guess.

Stephany is a delight
Stephany is a delight. I look forward to meeting with her during my 4 hours each day. The time goes by quickly. She is patient and understanding as I am a slow learner.
