After four weeks of Baselang, I am very satisfied with how things are going. Hands down, this has been the most productive time I have spent trying to learn Spanish. The large number of tutors has meant that I have been able to book lessons almost whenever I wanted. I have booked lessons only five minutes before starting, which is allowing me to schedule more Spanish lessons than any other platform or app allowed. Most tutors have been great, although individual approaches vary. When working on grammar lessons, the tutor is able to readily see where I am at with the curriculum. Even though my Spanish is fairly limited, I have enjoyed conversational lessons with super engaging tutors. The program is not cheap, but at my current level of use is cheaper than any alternative when considered per lesson. Pros: unlimited lessons, many great tutors, very flexible scheduling, sensible curriculum, associated flashcard app is a useful tool to aid memorising new vocabulary. Cons: cost (but I believe worth it if you have enough time to take advantage), there may be room for improvement with some of the curriculum materials. Based on my experience to date, I wish I'd bailed on other platforms and resources months ago. There is no comparison.

The people are nice, they do their best to explain, they really want you to succeed. The conversation is great and I am learning a lot. For reference I am 31 classes in. I have also used Lengalia, Learning Spanish Like Crazy, DuoLingo, Rosetta Stone, and had classes in high school and college. This is the best conversational resource I've used, with Lengalia the best grammatical.
