It'd be nice if there was a way that the baselang calendar automatically generated a meeting an agenda in google calendar.

I am enjoying BaseLang and the opportunity to practice speaking with and listneing and trying to understand the various native Spanish speakers I have booked. Because of who is availble at times convenient to me I find the communication or info available as to what I have worked on previously is missing and would like more continuity. It would also be good if the teachers could speak a little more slowly. Overall I am very much enjoying it.

Magaly was a great instructor – very easy to talk with! Her life's experiences make her instructions and the conversation so interesting! I would suggest to Baselang that if a student/instructor are already conducting their class in a classroom, another classroom be used for the other student/instructor to prevent distractions.

I found some really amazing teachers, who are really kind and patient. The only problem I had is that people really love their teachers so you have to book in advance if you are looking to see a specific teacher, but that’s not a really big issue other than that I love that you take classes 24/7 and I am super pleased with the curriculum so far.

I have had a lot of difficulty learning this language. I enrolled in the bootcamp program because none of the other programs I have tried have been intensive enough. My instructor is awesome! I give her 5 stars. She’s a great fit for me because she is patient and takes the time to understand my learning needs and adapts accordingly. The intensity of the program is what I need as well. However, my only constructive criticism is that for people who work full time, there is not enough time in between classes to digest the information to fully understand it. The material in the boot camp class is very helpful and I will continue to study it. Over time and through repetition I just might finally learn this language. Overall, this is the best program I have used so far.

I participated in the Real World program for six months to improve my Spanish speaking ability. The program provides very flexible scheduling with hundreds of instructors in S. America, many of whom are language teachers by profession. I enjoyed most of my conversations and felt the program was effective in helping me become more comfortable with speaking.

My experience with Baselang was great. It was the first time I was able to converse with native speakers of Spanish so I was really excited and made me realize and understand my level of listening comprehension and speaking skills. Most of the teachers are friendly and helpful. I really like the teachers who correct me on the spot and ask me to do seemingly difficult exercises like summarize a book I've read. They also gave me a lot of tips on my language learning and provided me links for books I can read online. For me, the biggest advantages of Baselang are 1) the flexibility of booking classes at almost any time of the day/week, classes are availabe for almost 24/7 with only around 6 hours "offline" a day; 2) being able to book a lesson in advance or up to 5 minutes before a class begins; 3) unlimited 1-on-1 classes. The price for unlimited classes is justifiable, although for someone with limited time with studies it may be a bit expensive. I think the area of opportunity is having a more structured conversation classes. Some teachers ran out of ideas for conversation, so I'd give them the topic generator link one teacher provided me. I understand that they want conversation to be free flowing, but I think it will be more efficient and more productive if teachers have a plan/structure for conversation classes. Some teachers though of DELE are very prepared, organized, and professional in way like a university professor. I like them the most because they are particular with grammar details and always correct my mistakes. Overall, it was a great experience speaking with Latinos, they are very friendly and accomodating.

I'm only 5 or so classes into it and so far, I am liking BaseLang. The teachers have been very good for the most part. It's very convenient and easy to sign up for a class. I plan to continue using BaseLang to improve my Spanish speaking abilities!
