Sorry but you don't really understand this meaning. Buen provecho and like Wise doesn't make sense.if the other person is not eating.

I have been a member for 2 years recently gave notice. Originally very pleased with the school, enjoyed the program (I'm very slow at language learning and it has really helped) and some great teachers. A number of my favourite teachers left, the quality of many of the remaining teachers has dropped off and just booking classes has become much harder. Booking favourite teachers -which you can do 7 days in advance - has become almost impossible in some cases and the best of the remaining teachers - bookable 5 days in advance - have long been snapped up. This is not helped because of tech issues they have with their booking issues that they seem to not give a sh*t about. You literally need to sit in front of your screen at the hour all classes are released and you will see classes populate and disappear before you eyes. This suggests to me that there are people using automatic booking software (supposedly not allowed and supposedly the site is protected against them). The function that supposedly lets you tap to reserve a booking and the 90 seconds to confirm doesn't work (again they don't give a sh*t, just "show me a video of it happening") you will click to reserve then get a message to say "already booked by another student" 2 seconds later when you click to confirm. They should at least start a system whereby one person can only book 1 hour with a teacher in say the 1st 24 hours of the slots becoming available. So, some great teachers (fewer than there were), very poor service.

I have account currently, and I had so much issues from the beginning! My time-zone was NOT automatically set so I missed classes with so many teachers, Many teachers also cancel last minute and the site give you a substitute teacher without asking which is so annoying because it counts as a lesson completed. The customer support KAI is so not helpful, if i don’t know something says It’s my fault for not reading the information beforehand.

This program is not for children, even fluent children. They have tested my daughter in both adult and children's Spanish and she's intermediate after 4 full years of Spanish. They expect someone to sit with a 10 year old the entire time, which is not reasonable or necessary. They have no support staff nor can they answer questions. I do not recommend this program for children at all.

Hi Shannon, You're correct in saying that currently (as of July 2024), our program is mainly designed for adult students. But over the years we have received a ton of requests to teach children, and so we decided to create some lessons specifically for kids. However, we only teach younger kids when a parent or guardian is willing to sit in on the class. Otherwise, it's common for younger students to easily get distracted and not pay attention, and as a result, the class ends up being a frustrating experience for everyone involved. Hope you can understand our current stance. Of course, we're happy to answer any questions you have - just email [email protected] :)

For 2 - 3 months, I had a pretty good experience with Baselang. But then several things happened. They upgraded their platform and suddenly a myriad of scheduling issues happened where it was no longer possible (nor a fair process) to book in your favourite teachers. Many classes ended being re-booked with an alternative teacher within an hour of the class time. This was extremely annoying as I took my lessons seriously and developing relationship with a few teachers who learned my style and were across my stage of learning. Substitute teachers were always disengaged and ended having the same, hi - where are you from etc. conversations over and over ALL my favourite teachers left the platform within a 6 - 8 week period. It was dismaying.. but not surprising, since the good ones have better opportunities elsewhere and Baselang pays them a pittance. While the cost for unlimited classes might sound like a good deal, I've realised it's better to find a couple of good online teachers, pay them a decent hourly rate for the guarantee that you'll get the teacher you actually want to work with. A lot of the "teachers" on Baselang have no idea how to actually teach, defaulting to reading powerpoint slides to you. It was incredibly tedious.

Warning baseline will not let you pause your subscription for a week should you have Internet access, the company only cares about the $$$ not helping their students

Booking classes with preferred teachers is very difficult. Almost all of the teachers come from Venezuela or Argentina. The price has become too high.
