Hi, we regret to hear that your experience was not a positive one. The attorneys on our Q&A forum volunteer their time to answer questions and as long as they abide by our community guidelines they can choose the tone and manner in which they respond. You can review our community guidelines and reach out to us if you feel an attorney has acted outside of those guidelines.

Our team at Avvo does not answer the questions, the professionals on our website do. So your answer depends on: who is available and who has the best answer for your question. If you feel some of the responses are unacceptable, please click on the flag below the answer. If the comments are in violation of our Community Guidelines, they will be removed from your question. Thank you for your feedback. I understand this can be frustrating and that lawyers can sometimes be rude. However, if they want to answer questions in this manner, they are welcome to do so as long as they abide by our Community Guidelines. This allows potential clients to see what kind of service they provide and how they help their clients.

I apologize if you are still waiting for a response for an attorney. Unfortunately Avvo cannot compel attorneys to respond as the volunteer their time. We here at Avvo are not attorneys, the professionals on our website are. So their responses depend on: Attorneys who are available at the time and are qualified to respond to inquires. I would advise you to search for more attorneys that may be available and who specialize in the area in which you are dealing with, and email them directly.
