I am extremely disappointed with Avouria. Not only were the tank tops poor quality, but when I returned them, I still have not received my refund. It’s frustrating to pay for a product that doesn’t meet expectations and then have to chase a company for money that should have been refunded promptly. I tried to contact them for a full refund. It took over a week for Avouria to get back to me. Then they wanted pictures and video of garment. Which I sent. After another week I received an email saying: If I would leave us a 5-star Trustpilot review sharing my experience with our Avouria. They’d send me a free prepaid return label so shipping won’t cost me anything. So I left a false 5-star review so I would receive the prepaid return label. Nothing like bribery and its finest form. So everyone be very careful of these false raving reviews from people that returned their products!! Good customer service doesn’t end with making a sale—it includes standing behind your products and honoring your return policy. Based on my experience, I cannot and will not recommend Avouria and will not be purchasing from them again.

It took a week to get a reply for a return. When I finally received the reply for a return it asked for video of the tank. The sizing shown on the website isn’t accurate or appropriate for elderly women. Asking for a 5 * review to send a return is unacceptable. I suggest you don’t do business with this company. I’ll donate them before paying a return fee.

This is one of the most onerous return policies I have ever run across. The sizing on these tanks is ridiculous. The offer for free return shipping comes with a requirement for a 5 star review. Blackmail anyone? My suggestion is to run as far as fast as you can away from this company!

I usually wear medium or large clothes so I ordered large to be safe. I was sent XL and the fit is extremely tight. I do not want an exchange I want to return for a refund.

FINAL UPDATE: After sending my first message July 22, it is now August 6 (they take several days to respond each time, messages are full of apologies as if they are sympathizing - like the one you will see below in response to my original review - and generally don't address your return request the first time so be prepared to wait several messages and forever to resolve, which i believe is part of the plan so you will give up!) and they finally sent the info I need to actually send it back, BUT here is the kicker: I found out that because the return address is in the USA and I am in Canada, I will have to pay extra duties and fees just to get the pkg. into the US even though it is a return and unless I am willing to go through a lengthy process of documentation to reclaim those fees, I have to eat them. By the time I pay the shipping AND the extra fees, it is not worth my time or effort to return the item I will not use. The end. Forewarned is forearmed and anyone else looking at these tank tops is advised to look elsewhere!!! Meantime, if youre looking for a good deal on a tank top that is sized 3X and probably fits a barbie doll, I have one cheap. ______________________________________________________________ Original post: I received the wrong size item, immediately contacted customer support to request a return, and have been waiting over 48 hours for a response. I have sent another message in two places. This is not acceptable. Update: the company has responded to this review making it sound like they’re doing everything they can to take care of me. I initiated the return process immediately after I received the package and with these people you wait 3 to 4 days for their response. When it comes, they are offering you something other than a return process to encourage you to keep the item you don’t want. Then you have to reply to tell them you don’t want to do what they suggested and wait another 3 to 4 days until they write back. I have been completely clear in all of my messages about what I want, and I still have not received the help I asked for. Regardless of what they have said in response to my review, I have yet to hear from them in any helpful way to get this taken care of and over with.

Do not believe what you read on trust pilot.In order to return the 3 tops I bought( much to small) they asked me to write them a 5 star review and then they would send me return instructions and a full refund.I have had several emails promising me that it was being sorted out but still nothing,its been weeks now.Their target customers are women who have had breast cancer surgery,as if we haven't been through enough without being stitched up by Avouria,my advice- stay well clear of this company It gets worse,after numerous promises of a full refund ,I finally recieve another nonsense email from Caroline Houghland saying that they had tried to send a refund to my credit card but due to some charge or other they had be unable to proceed.I do not own a visa credit card ending in 8...4,so hardly surprising I didn't recieve it.This comany does nothing but tell lies and is still refusing to let me return the goods and give me a full refund stay well clear of Avouria.
