I recently purchased 4 x 500ml plastic pump action bottles of Aveeno Moisturising Cream. Only 1 out of the 4 dispensed the Aveeno Moisturising Cream. The pump action style of the bottle has changed, I never had any previous problems with the old style pump action bottles. When I phoned the Aveeno queries/complaints phone number, I hoped I would hear that some positive action about this problem would be taken. Apparently other people had had problems with the new style pump bottle, I assume not dispensing the Moisturising Cream correctly. It’s a pity that Aveeno don’t give this product in Pump Action Bottles that work. A refund is the last thing I need, I require a product that is fit for purpose. 3 out of 4 Pump Action Bottles are not fit for purpose but it seems Aveeno are prepared to do nothing but offer you a refund. That DOES NOT SOLVE MY PROBLEM caused by this new style pump bottle, it has an arrowed collar under the dispensing spout, and is not effective at all, Aveeno will lose revenue and customers because of this and they seem prepared to do that. Not good, burns the skin and causes itchiness.

I tried Aveeno body wash for my ancient dry skin. It made my feet go very scaly with patches of dry skin falling off. Even making sure my feet were thoroughly rinsed in the shower didn’t help. Awful stuff.

Aveeno dark blue cap (old formula)- I used this on my 9 year old son since he was a baby. The only cream in the market to work on his eczema. Over the years doctors had prescribed many pharmaceutical products. However, nothing worked. When I discovered Aveeno dark blue cap it changed my son's life. His skin was no longer itchy or inflamed. Recently, the formula has been changed and the product is unfoetunately no longer effective. In fact, my son says it burns his skin and it is very painful. His skin flares up. I had to convinced my son to keep trying it for a few days. After a week, my son's eczema had deteriorated so badly, we had to get corticoids -for the first time in 9 years-. My recommendation is to avoid this product at all cost. Do not use it on very dry skin and definetly not on skin prone to eczema.

Aveeno had been a great product for over 5 years but its recently changed and lost its benefit at least for me, also the pump system fails to deliver 25% of the cream left at the bottom of the 500mm bottle. All in all a very expensive product that used to work well ( for me) and now is a waste of money.

Aveeno was the first moisturiser I found that didn't irritate my skin. The new formula is added caprylyl glycol which is suppose to help it penetrate the skin more easily. Seems that not doing that is exactly why the old recipe was good and they've shot themselves in the foot.

Originally found Aveeno's products, those which I purchased, good especially those for sensitive skin. Now, however, they have little effect and so much of the cream remains in the container when nearing its end; a good way to add to profit, unless removed by methods other than pump.

I brought an Aveeno moisturiser that was so rubbish, I did leave them a truthful review of the product. Of course, they reviewed my review and decided it didn't meet their conditions so they chose not to declare my 1 star review. This is completely dishonest. The awful product had an 4.3 star rating out of 1600 reviews, but no wonder, they are all fake reviews.
