AVCLabsReviews of avclabs.com

excellent AI technology , gives great quality and color correction, a must have for Photoshop Artists.

Yeah! That was too great!

I've tried so many different applications and fiddled around with them but lost interest in them after a while. AVCLabs seems to be really easy to work with and I really enjoy combing thru my files to find all my old black and white photos to colorize. I now keep one in black and white and one in color next to it. I have compiled my family history back to the 1400's and adding color to these pictures really makes them pop out. The draw back is the very old pictures are not very good quality but adding color sure makes a difference. Spending a ton of money on other web sites just isn't worth the cost of a subscription service because I only have so many picture to render. I haven't even thought about remaking my old video's. Now that would really be something that I would like to learn. They have been sitting in a box since my daughter was born in 1977, waiting for the chance to transfer them out to be able to at least see some of the pictures after all this time. There are so many things on the film that I would like to visit again before it crumbles away into dust. I'm in my 80's now and this has become an obsession it seems. I have a lot of time to spare and this site has really given me things to do every day now until it finally wears off or I run out of pictures. Who knows I may have some friends that I can show and the first thing they will ask is can you do all my pictures too. Well, Im going to cut this off now and get back to searching my old files for things to work on. I wish I had come across this app when I was writing my family history book. That really would have made it pop! Great application to have on your computer.

I'm so glad I ran into this site when searching for a way to enhance my photos! I have tried scanning old printed photos to upload them to my digital albums, but the scanner always produces very grainy low-res images. I was skeptical at first that an AI would be able to restore them without it being super apparent that they were artificially altered, but they've actually come out pretty well! You'd only be able to tell they had been altered with AI upon very close inspection. To keep from using up all my credits I haven’t been able to use all the features offered. The ones I have used are the noise removing feature and the quality enhancing feature. I recommend them both for sure! That quality enhancing one has been especially useful for upping my low-res photos. The noise reduction will help with grain, but not really banding, which is an issue you run into with cheaper scanners like mine. It does make a dent in the banding, but it will still leave traces, especially if the banding was particularly strong. The one complaint I have is the AI image texture (very distinctive if you know what I’m talking about) showing up in my photos, but I suppose that comes with the territory. It’s the price you pay for not having to spend lots of time on each of your photos in Photoshop.

Easy to use and usefull. Simple user interface makes it more easy to work on. Can be used for quality enhancing.

This site is the best I have found for upscaling low resolution photos. Other apps and websites either charge an excessive amount to use their service or make a poor attempt to upscale pictures and the end result is either a blurry mess or an image that looks the same as before they processed it and it's just a larger filesize now. AVCLabs offers the ability to earn free credits to use their service if you don't want to pay anything by either subscribing to their youtube, following them on Facebook, or following them on Twitter. They also offer additional credits for writing a review like I am doing here but they don't state it has to be positive so it's not attempting to skew their reviews unfairly. In fact, if I didn't like the service so much I wouldn't even have bothered to write this review in the first place. Literally, just go to their site and upscale your own image, they offer a handful of free credits to test their site's ability. You won't be disappointed and I'm sure you'll be writing your own review like me, albeit probably just for the free credits but the fact that their site is actually the best, at least in my opinion, makes it a breeze to do so. Worst case after my free credits are used up ill gladly pay for their service.
