I’m overall very happy with the bracelet. I got pregnant my first month using it, and it’s pretty cool how it logs all your information into it. I just turned it to pregnancy mode today so I’m not sure how I’ll like that. It helped my anxiousness feel so much more at ease being able to scroll threw the results each day. I kind of feel like it’s extremely overpriced for what it does, but it’s also kind of doing stuff that I’ve never done either. I do like it, and would recommend it if you’re having anxiety getting pregnant 💗

Have used Ava for to get pregnant with each child. One in 2017, 2019 and current year. Easy to use but did take multiple cycles before could really see a pattern. Only drawback is I was using the older model.

Das AVA armbändchen an sich und die ganze Sache ist eine super Idee. Es hat mir auch zu 2 Schwangerschaften verholfen bzw. natürlich nur das fruchtbarefenster eingegrenzt. Ein bisschen schade ist, dass man oft mit seinen Werten nichts anzufangen weiß. Ohne community auf Facebook ist es fast unmöglich einen Durchblick zu bekommen. Da würde ich mir ein bisschen mehr Unterstützung oder Kontaktmöglichkeit wünschen vom AVA Real selbst. Und für den Preis, ist die Machart des armbäbdchens etwas billig..

The bracelet works great for me. I have regular cycles and the bracelet data matches up with my OPK data. I love that I don't have to take my temp every morning manually. The App has some bugs that are really annoying. One that really bothered me is you can't remove the "It's bedtime" reminder - I try removing it and it's back the next day trying to tell me to sleep at 7:30PM. I tried getting rid of it a few times and got really frustrated when it comes back the next day. I had to turn off Ava notifications completely in my iphone settings in order to get them to stop, which means Ava can't send me other notifs now. Another bug that has been a problem since I got the app is: from the calendar view if you try to select a date, it always selects the previous date. So I know the work around is to select the day AFTER the day I want, so that it will let me enter data for that date. For example if I want to enter data for the 16th, I have to actually select the 17th. These little papercuts make me lose trust in the tech and in the app, especially since these obvious problems have been issues for the 9 months I've been using Ava. I also wish they had a community built into the app instead of having to go to a private facebook group - which I have tied to my real name and identity. I would rather the option to anonymize my profile so that my mutuals don't know I am ttc and see personal questions I want to ask about my fertility journey. It seems one of my cousins has also used Ava in the past, I can see she's also in the facebook group, and I worry that she will mention it to a mutual relative, so I don't post there as often as I'd like. The more popular Ava gets the more of a problem this will be, and a supportive and open community is really important.
