This bracelet got my ovulation date correct once and has since consistently reported the same cycle day of ovulation every cycle, even when incorrect. Additionally, I got a positive pregnancy test despite my heart rate dropping. Ava reports that heart rate rises with pregnancy. This is an expensive way to track the hours you sleep and your heart rate. The temperature isn’t reliable.

My daughter bought the Ava bracelet, it was delivered via USPS to her front porch, it was stolen. A neighbor came over with the empty box he found in his yard. She sent an email to the company and the only thing they could offer her was 10% off another bracelet. I got on line to see what I could do, she was busy working. No customer service phone number anywhere on the site. I did on-line "chat" with someone. I explained the situation to her. She did e-mail my daughter and they disabled the bracelet so it could not be used. So they know my daughter is not scamming them, but no offer to replace the bracelet. I have a hormonal daughter who is convinced the world is telling her she will never have a baby and not wanting to shell out $570.00 to get another bracelet ( $300 for the stolen one and 10% replacement at $270.) I would think this company who says it is compassionate toward women show more compassion than this. Buyer beware!

I was so excited to get my Ava bracelet and think I would have really liked it, however I didn't do my homework and didn't realize it needs to be charged every night before use. It just wasn't practical for me. After several times forgetting to charge it, I gave up. What device needs to be charged everyday in the 21st century? Ava is supposed to make your life easier. I found temping to be much easier. I found a bbt thermometer that is smart and much easier to use. Cheaper too. I would have been more than happy to pay the price for Ava if it lived up to what I would expect for a $300 device. Unfortunately it did not. I just wish I would have realized the charging limitation earlier.

I know AVA does say that you shouldn’t use it for NFP so it’s probably unfair of me to write this, however just Incase there are people out there wanting to buy this for NFP - don’t! Ha! The skin temperature for me was a lot less accurate the BBT and the app, although it allowed you to chart your other signs it does not take these signs into account. So we got pregnant on a day that AVA said I had low fertility. Next time I will go back to fertility awareness method.

Update review from our last. Still not pregnant and now the Ava is showing signs of wear. I have emailed the company because can’t seem to locate a phone number. No response. Horrible customer support! Again $400 was not worth it. I would love to know if the people who have been claiming they got pregnant on the 1st or 2nd cycle with ava have really been trying before ava?

I have been using the Ava bracelet for 4 months now and it has been wrong predicting ovulation every month. Fertility Friend is more accurate in predicting fertile days. I still have to do ovulation strips every month to find my fertile days. I was hoping this would be a breath of fresh air after trying to conceive for 2 years. I don’t believe this is worth the high price tag. I am very disappointed with this product and will not be recommending it to anyone wanting to narrow down their most fertile days. I guess I will be going back to tracking my BBT & ovulation strips.
