Terrible Watch Strap
I like the wearable technology, but the watch strap is terrible! Please change the material or design.... something! I absolutely hate fussing with the watch before I go to bed.

Does not give me fertile days in real time since my cycles vary and are longer. I have to wait until the end of a cycle, go back and delete the period then re-add it to get an accurate ovulation date.

My 1st purchase ended up breaking, the ring on the back came off. Ava kindly shipped me a replacement in a reasonable amount of time. Although, it should not have broken and the shipping method should've been overnight. I trusted Ava for approx 8 mos after trying for 7 mos prior. 2 mos ago a friend said she was still taking ovulation strips, it was 2 days off from Ava. I tried using my strips again to check in my 7th month of using Ava... It also seemed to be 2 days off. Now because of the strips, I'm pregnant. I don't give Ava the credit and am disappointed in my purchase. Also, I would've loved to be able to switch my Ava 1.0 for 2.0 but they don't provide their customers that option. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the app still provides other information I do like; sleep, HRV, RPR, BR, etc. Good helpful articles too.

Pros: - displays all your data beautifully in very pretty charts - finds your fertile window (reference, I have standard 28 to 30 day cycles) - reminds you of impending period - cool articles in the home page with information relevant to your current fertile stage - bracelet very comfortable, even though I wore it really tight, and never malfunctioned in 7 months of use Cons : - switching to pregnancy mode removes all your prior data, I wanted to see my skin temperature graphs again! - when switching to pregnancy mode, it asks you when your last period was, it should know that! - switching to pregnancy mode tracks less parameters, why track less? I want to see all the data! - pregnancy mode added a weight tracker, would have been nice to see that in the conceive mode - when your data is insufficient because you didn't sleep long enough, it doesn't display any data, including sleep hours. - protected vs unprotected sex doesn't have different symbols in the calendar All in all, I'd buy it again. It gave me peace of mind that I was ovulating since it produced really clear charts for me. I'd really like to see some app improvements. Pregnancy mode should look just like conceive mode with the added info on your baby development.

I enjoyed the data Ava provided, although it was off by several days with my ovulation. I wouldn’t buy it again due to that, I’m happy I was using more than one method to track my cycles.
