My grandfather was one of my greatest mentors. He grew up in NYC with horse and buggy, flew in WW1 in France, and together we watched man land on the moon. My grandchildren live far away from me and are seldom seen. I wanted them to have the benefit of my experience and wisdom from the ups and downs of life. Having been a lead author for a book published by a major publisher, I knew I needed a different way. After extensive research, I selected Kindle Direct Publishing, KDP, and Atticus for my self-publishing and book writing programs. I describe my book writing journey in the sequel to Master the Roller Coaster of Life. Atticus was cost effective being that only one payment was needed. Atticus has extensive tutorials. Being in my 80’s, new technology is challenging. I have needed significant Atticus support which was made available the same day or next day. I am working on my fourth book and ran into a problem that was not addressed in the tutorials but was figured out by the support desk team after reviewing the problem in my book development. I cannot say enough good things about Atticus and their support team.
