Disasteful customer service- out for your money not your overall wellbeing!
The publishing company is owned and ran by Peter Hamilton-Giles alongside his Wife, Carolynn Hamilton. The two of which, have left me horribly dissatisfied. Any problem i presented them was met with an attitude of my being a nuisance. Their demeanor was the unjust, and closed-hearted in nature. Their books claim to have indigenous wisdom embedded within them, myself being half mayan, can easily discern that their claims stating that they support indigenous teachings being entirely false and superficial. Their products cost an arm and a leg, and they'll gladly take your arm and leg with no concern, so long as it keeps them fed, and their business running, thats all they care about. I went to them in a time of need, and understanding, what I received in return were elitist responses, with no genuine consideration or willingness to understand why i'd in any way shape or form desire PDFs for the books i purchased from them. The books themselves, are overpriced, and their customer service skills are absolutely unforgivable. Their inability to show empathy towards customers, and their willingness to victim blame, and actively shame a customer for desiring a product and a sustained connection to the product they spent over $600 dollars one is beyond ridiculous, and completely unacceptable in the occult community. The community needs publishers, who provide so-called occult teachings, to take responsibility for the work they produce. We need scibes to not hide behind a screen/or alias so that they can bully those that point out flaws in the work they offer, and to be transparent with their customers when confronted about a business schematic that isnt geared towards the customers overall health and wellbeing, but intended to leave customers at odds with themselves, and untrusting of other publishing outlets who provide limited edition copies of books. I lost the materials i bought from them due to a CPTSD episode, i have a genuine history of being abused, by foster families, alongside the trauma from not having any real biological family present by my side growing up. When i expressed this to them, in a subtle way, to Carolynn in particular, she went to her husband, who decided to directly attack my overall character, openly stating i need to be ashamed over who i am because of my losing the books. This sort of behaviour is the same kind of which has haunted me my whole life growing up- cold hearted masculine figures, claiming that theyre good people, who shame you for not living up to their idea of how you should or shouldnt be. They even went so far as to tell me that i played the card of being native american, when carolyhn showed apathy about my situation, to which i responded, if you show your customers that little of empathy/sympathy, then i really wonder if you guys' have any true connection to indigenous wisdom- as indigenous wisdom is primarily rooted in understanding, bringing others into the awareness of their inherent wholeness, and isnt about money, but ultimately geared toward guiding other's towards sustainable living that reminds us of our worth and purpose as creators. They exhibited none of this understanding, and decided to reaffirm my intuitions/hunches, that these people are selfish, greedy, with no real authentic connection to indigenous teachings, but are selling books claiming to love the earth and its people- while shoving people into the dirt from their privileged position, and putting them down for not being strong enough. For someone like Peter to claim to be a teacher is laughable in my eyes, real teachers genuinely care, and desire to see their students, heal, grow, and overcome their challenges.. a true teacher and guide, encourages one to heal, they dont abuse their position of self claimed authority to belittle others, to slander them, and victim blame/ shame them for their upbringing. I will never in any way shape or form associate myself with this company, and neither should you because this company isnt going to serve your overall health and growth, theyre after you growing sicker, and they want you to despise who you are, they dont want you to love yourself.. These exchanges show me what their so called craft is all about, its ultimately designed to rob you of your being authentic to yourself, and to trick you into believing you're being true to yourself by denying your worth and intrinsic sovereignty aligned with the laws of the universe, to follow a system of spirituality that theyve designed to limit you- not teach you how to unlimit yourself. Their methods are no different than the catholic church, its just dressed up to look as if its not, so that they can take advantage of you. With that, stay away from them, read Shakespeare, Dantes Divine Comedy, youll find more wisdom there.
