falixnodes is sooooooooooooo much better. ive tested a ton or free hosts and this one is dogshit compared to a few others. falixnodes is an examle of a good one.

The service provided is quite fine, what makes it horrible is the attitude of people behind the scene. If you have any issue, they cannot help you and provide a pre-written answer, always blaming external factors e.g. plugins/mods causing issues with RAM usage and running out of memory when the dashboard says 30% used. The Discord Server is defined unofficial because non-staff members can answer the requests sent but the option is linked in helpcenter articles and at the bottom of almost every website page. This means that support for this server should be available but from what I could see with my experience and other people that had similar issues, requesting support with that is pointless e.g. appealing a ban, and moderators should be at least a bit helpful, specifically one which is extremely rude. To be specific with my case, I joined the Discord Server a couple of years ago and started helping other members and having random chats with moderators + other members. The day 02.09.25 while away from home and not being active for some days, I received 2 DMs from the moderation bot of the discord server telling me I'm banned from Aternos and exaroton Discord Servers. Reason? "No reason provided" for both. My first instict, knowing this could be a mistake since it happened a few times already, was to contact a few moderators I met over the years to ask what happened and if they could check. Noone answered except one who just said that it is beyond his control (so made by the team aka staff). No further answer after that and I opened a ticket in the support portal. First answer was from a team member asking me what I have done to cause that, apparently he couldn't find the reason. After a week and half without a follow up and bumping the request, I received a couple of responses from another team member. This team member response limits to telling me my ban was not a mistake, I should know what I have done and insisting for an unban means I don't think about being wrong. This continues further, even considering multiple requests to "end the discussion here", and I received final response, which was the "most specific answer" they could give me: ban because of my behaviour regarding Aternos in DMs. Asking for explanation again, since after checking my DMs I could find nothing that might trigger this action, so did not violate any of their server rules. Response: "We won't respond to any further messages." After a few months I casually met the rude moderator in another server and accused me in front of other people of being a doxxer, this should prove my previous point. Knowing similar cases happened in the past with other people, some for asking more questions than "allowed" e.g. backups system, I decided not to continue this further but to forward this online to let other people know what actually happens there, hoping they'll consider using other services that actually care about their customers instead.

Upside: free Downside: no ability to transfer an existing server to Aternos. This is the real dealbreaker that makes me not use this service. Not making a Minecraft server I guess.

Aternos antes era la raja, te dejaba meterle los mods. Pero ahora no sirve ni pa' calentar el pan. Le sacaron la mejor parte: poder subir tus propios mods. ¿Y qué queda? Un servidor más inútil que una patada en la raja. No podí’ hacer nada sin tener que rogarle al sistema. Terrible penca. Prefiero jugar con tierra que seguir confiando en esta wea. ¿Servidor pa' mods? Ya ni a eso llega. muestran más anuncios que una teleserie mala, como si te cobraran hasta por mover la raja. Instalar mods personalizados? Nica. Tener libertad pa armar tu mundo? Menos. Pa eso mejor juego con legos
