Aspire’s customer service is what happens when incompetence becomes a team sport. Tom, Danielle, Russ, Matt, Marie, and Wendy delivered a parade of contradictory explanations, changing stories, and spectacular failures to answer basic questions. I was told an invoice hadn’t been sent, then told I requested it through an app I didn’t even have—an app I needed Aspire’s help setting up in the first place. I was transferred to someone introduced as a manager who later claimed they weren’t a manager. Apparently, even job titles are beyond this company’s ability to keep straight. Marie was particularly impressive in the race to the bottom, but the competition was fierce. The service was rude, dismissive, and useless. The apparent hiring requirement is being about as sharp as a bucket of hair, with a bonus qualification in talking confidently while having absolutely no idea what’s going on. For a loan servicer, Aspire’s inability to communicate, verify facts, or take accountability is downright embarrassing. I shouldn’t have to conduct an investigation just to get a straight answer about my own account. If customer service were a measure of competence, Aspire would be a cautionary tale. Save every record, document every conversation, and don’t expect these people to get their stories straight.
