My wife and I recently took a wonderful journey through the Burgundy & Beaujolais wine region of France. Mikael and Katie “The Wine Fairy” were our hosts, and we couldn’t have been in better hands. Our accommodations were first class, the food was spectacular and, of course, the wine was delicious. We learned so much from Katie about French wine making and she was so knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the journey. The small tour group ( maximum 10 ) made this an intimate experience with many funny moments and lasting memories. Thanks to everyone at Art in Voyage for putting together a fun and informative tour. This is our 5th Art In Voyage journey and we have two more planned in 2024 and 2025. This journey was exquisite as always. Every day was a joy. Mikael and Katie were both accommodating to all our particular needs. Our two accommodations; a 13th century castle and a 12th Century Abbaye were both comfortable and different experiences. Our massage after our arrival was a welcoming extra. Katie Barratt AKA as Katie the Wine Fairy is not only wine knowledgeable but a warm, funny and engaging personality. Mikael is the consummate host on these journeys. He visited many pharmacies to purchase medications for me to address the cold I seemed to have contracted while traveling. I really can't say enough good things about this group.

I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Cook Nice Tour. From our accommodations, to our cooking classes, to the fabulous restaurants, everything was exceptional. We didn't have to worry about a thing. I was so impressed with each activity and with the knowledge and care that our guide gave us. Thanks so much for a fabulous week!

I have just recently returned from my 3rd Art In Voyage curated tour, Cook Nice: On the Footsteps of Julia Childs. All I can say is that Mikael and his team are amazing! I was living a dream throughout my entire time in Paris. Never would I have imagined taking a cooking class at the Cordon Bleu or dining at Le Jules Verne Restaurant at La Tour Eiffel with its amazing views of Paris. From the moment I made the decision to go on this adventure, all of the planning details were prearranged and organized flawlessly. My only task was to arrive in Paris and begin experiencing all that Paris has to offer. From the champagne boat cruise on the Seine, the delectable food and wine tasting evenings, the pastry and cheese making classes not to forget beautiful Versailles and its gardens, these wonderful memories will last a lifetime. Our small group was fortunate to have Isabelle as our hostess for the 5 days in Paris. She is a kind, warm person and very knowledgeable in la gastronomy. Julia Childs would approve. We had an amazing time with her. Thank you AIV for making this trip a once in a lifetime experience.

I just returned from a small group trip to Paris and it was such an incredible experience! From a private boat tour on the Seine to a guided tour of Versailles, from dinner at the top of the Eiffel Tower to a cooking class at Le Cordon Bleu, the experiences were all amazing and the coordination of the trip logistics was flawless. On the footsteps of CoCo. I recently returned from the most amazing travel experience of my life with Art in Voyage. My 27 yr old daughter and I went on a whirlwind journey curated by Mikael and his amazing team. From the moment we landed in Paris and were picked up by a gentleman holding a sign with our name (so swanky!) to the drop off at the Rome airport from our private transfer, the trip was flawless. I look back on the detailed Travel Journal the team provided and cherish every memory we created. Paris, Florence, Rome. Each city won my heart. The concierge service provided during the trip was priceless. We literally walked past a restaurant in Rome at noon, sent a text, and in 5 minutes had a reservation for that evening. We were running a few minutes late for a tour, no problem, sent a text and the team notified the guide. We couldn't wait to receive the nightly recaps detailing the activities for the following day. Each of our tour guides in all three cities were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and professional and we ended each tour exchanging contact info as friends. I will never travel anywhere again without AIV.

Art in Voyage created the perfect Italian vacation for my family of four. From the planning to the trip’s end, everything was seamless. The drivers and tour guides they chose were dynamic, knowledgeable and charismatic! The hotels were all charming and comfortable after a wonderful day of exploring. We had mouthwatering food and delicious local drinks at suggested restaurants where reservations were made in advance. The fact that someone was on “call” 24 hours a day should we need them really put our minds at ease when traveling overseas. This trip holds dear memories for our family and we’re so grateful to Art in Voyage for planning and arranging everything so all we had to do was show up and be ready for adventure.

After meeting Mikael in 2019 during our AIV trip to Umbria, I knew I wanted to go to his homeland via the Taste of Provence journey. The trip was a perfect mix of wineries, Michelin restaurants, cooking with a chef on his farm, boating in a canyon lake, smelling the lavender, seeing the gorgeous countryside that inspired Van Gogh and Cezanne, and resting in the prettiest villa I've ever seen. We were pampered 24/7 - Mikael anticipated every need and took care of us while Kevin cooked the best French dishes every night. What I especially appreciate about AIV journeys is I don't have to think, plan or worry - all I do is have fun and relax and enjoy the people I'm with (including Mikael and Kevin). Thank you to the entire AIV team for exceeding my expectations again - it was truly a trip of a lifetime. You're the best!
