Update September 2
Update September 2, 2026: Wells Fargo reviewed my dispute and resolved it in my favor. The merchant later requested that I return the two sleeping sacks. I agreed to return them by August 31 and requested a prepaid return label. The merchant did not provide the label or shipping instructions. Instead, it subsequently emailed me claiming the merchandise had remained in my possession despite its notices and stated that it had contacted “the appropriate authorities.” At no point did I refuse to return the merchandise. The items remain preserved and available for return while I await a valid prepaid label and written instructions. I have filed a consumer complaint with the Texas Attorney General and retained the complete correspondence.

We understand that the customer has provided her perspective, but there are important facts that should be clarified. The merchandise was subject to our non-returnable policy, and the applicable return conditions were provided to the customer. The payment was subsequently fully refunded, while the merchandise remained in the customer’s possession. More than 30 days have now passed since the original return request, and we are no longer requesting the merchandise to be returned. Given the circumstances, we have formally submitted the matter and the relevant documentation to the appropriate authorities for independent review rather than continuing to handle the matter directly. We have preserved the complete correspondence and transaction records and will provide any additional evidence requested by the authorities.
