Archway Publishing intitated a monthly billing of my credit card for $9.99 for the "Author Leanring Center" without my consent. Despite multiple calls and letters, they continued to bill my account for months until my credit card company issued a stop payment. My credit card company reversed all charges but it was headache. This is not the company you want to help you self-publish.

Everything about my publishing experience was horrible once I got in production. It has been downhill since. That director made false promises. DO NOT waste your time!!

Archway are thieves! I got conned out of almost $3000! They helped me make my book deal package and then when I told them I needed more time I got forgotten about and they stopped checking in on me. I tried to reach out to them, of course I can't get a refund by now, and no one returns my emails or phone calls. I can't move forward with my book and I can't get my money back. Don't fall for their games!

They called me and asked if i was interested to self publishing with them and I told them i have already working with Amazon publishig. Again they ask me okay would be interested to write another book with us? Are you stupid i just gave you an answer!

They are liars and frauds. They did a total bait and switch on me. They told me editing was included then told me I had to pay another 3k for it. Now they are refusing to give me back the money I had paid them. They basically stole 1800 from me. If I could give them negative stars I would. Stay away from them.

So far, archway has sold zero copies of my book. I'll wait to see how well they do marketing for the next survey.

If I could rate negative stars I would. Short encounter: one of their sales people cold called me, convinced me to give them a down payment of $1,200. The next day I realized I did not want to do this and asked for a refund. Lots of smoke, no refund. These guys are scam artists preying on the vulnerabilities of new authors. I've filed a fraud complaint with my bank. Beware!
