Archway PublishingReviews of archwaypublishing.com

Just another vanity publisher who preys on peoples’ dreams. I’ve seen zero ROI for $1600. I was also hung up on today while voicing my disappointment. They can say what they want in response, but for me it’s been a waste of money.

Absolutely horrible. Do not waste your time or money. They still have not provided my refund. If I could I'd give them less than 1 star. They will charge huge amounts of money and literally do nothing. They will ask you to do all of the formatting even though they have a graphic design team. Each representative that I was assigned or spoke to clearly does not care about you. Do not give them your money.

My dealings with Archway started out with great promise. They quickly reviewed my initial work in days instead of the weeks they said they needed and told me that I needed a line edit. I loved their service so much that I paid for everything in advance, a BIG Mistake! Then they stopped their service. They took over 3 months to edit a 20,000 word manuscript, it should have taken four days! They kept stalling me and making excuses, so after all that time I told them to forget everything and I'll take my business somewhere else. They claimed I could only ask for a refund within 90 days of signing the contract, so Archway deliberately took longer so they have an excuse to keep all $5000! These were thousands of dollars for services they never provided! I talked to attorneys about this, who told me they cannot legally do this, but I have to fight to get my money back. This is an unethical company. Stay away from them. By the way, my book came out as the #1 seller in new releases on Amazon. I'm putting this story in every book.

Unfortunately, Archway is one of the biggest rip-offs in the country. I would never ever use them again to publish a book. All they know how to do well is charge astronomical prices for little if any return. From day one, my experience was a DISASTER. My author rep "disappeared" without notice (and without my being informed) resulting in my manuscript being ignored for almost four (4) months before even being edited. That was only the beginning of my ordeal. When I finally got my books published over six months later, the printing was far below standard, yet they refused to replace the defective volumes, which had to be tossed since the cover was so bad the books were unsaleable. My advice: stay away from this crooked outfit.

Not good at communication, explaining and follow up. Felt that they just want money. You hardly can get a hold of them over the phone.

You were habitably late with everything, failed to inform me when or why you were late, plus you shipped my books to the wrong address! I couldn't even change the address thanks to your software! It was a shoddy experience and I wouldn't recommend you to anyone.

I will not ever recommend to anyone else. The entire process was delayed, poorly communicated, and my book was treated as if it was unwanted and just a number.

The cooperation and the communication went fine till I discovered the problem with my ebook. After that, the Archway team stopped responding to my emails. I am very confused and frustrated.
