I have had them for almost 20 years and never been late on a payment. My father died on my birthday and I missed a payment first time in 20 years. They still charged a late fee. Horrible bank...

I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with this bank. It has been consistently difficult to use my account for routine, day-to-day purchases due to unreasonably low debit card limits. Additionally, attempts to contact the bank have been unsuccessful; I frequently leave voicemails and do not receive timely responses. Even more concerning, my debit card often remains unusable more than 24 hours after my last transaction. As a result of these ongoing issues, I would not choose to do business with this institution again. I am currently in the process of transferring all of my funds to a bank that is more accessible, reliable, and attentive to its customers.

This company allows peoples information to be stolen and used yet REFUSES to help! I've sent them my bank account numbers multiple times to show them it doesn’t match in their system yet they ignore me!!

I have been a customer for 15 years , and when I call for assistance, I do not want to speak with someone from Dominican Republic by the name of Eric that can barely speak English and has an accent that I can not even begin to Undertstand. This is disrespectful to your customers as this is a waste of our time ! Stop WASTING our Time ! I had to call 4 times just to get someone to resolve my problem . This costs the Bank and its stockholders lots and lots of money ! And more importantly, it makes Good Customers like me not want to use your card .

Applied Bank Visa was our second option for re-establishing our credit after job loss and no income. The card for us was approved, though it's a Secured card, and you have to deposit at least $200, you can at least get back onto the radar of credit bureaus. They have a low annual member fee, and apparently will move over a card holder to an Unsecured Card, should you pay on time for a year. The only downfall of this lender/bank us their website and account page is VERY old fashioned and limited,. It's not at all user friendly. That being said, I got approved right away, and was not much of a hassle (except for the lack of online access and payment options).
