It is not clear that you have to order the medication from THEIR pharmacy, which is super expensive. I thought the prescription would be sent to me so I could use my insurance. I did not get any refund.

I was so excited to receive the tretinoin. I opened the bottle and the pump doesn’t work. I had to open the bottle and try to get to it by banging the bottle on my hand until some came out. I banged the bottle on the cabinet to prime as suggested but it still doesn’t work. Very disappointed.

The WORSE. The products that were sent to me made me breakout even more. I asked for products that would help reduce oily skin. I even made suggestions from what I read about it. Save your money. Ppl.

I just tried them out and am extremely disappointed. I feel scammed right now. I input all my information and answered the questionnaire. Submitted the payment and received a treatment plan appx. 30 mins later. The plan included 2 medications: spironolactone and azelaic acid. The message that came with it referenced hormonal acne several times. I was confused bc in the survey response, I confirmed that I do NOT get hormonal acne. I asked about this and was advised that there was a “hormonal component to every single female with acne be it a 10 year old or a 70 year old”. Makes sense, but I’m not sure why the questionnaire asked me this question, if this is the case. I then noticed the medication prices through Apostrophe were WAY higher than my local pharmacy, so I asked if the prescription could be transferred to my local pharmacy. They eventually provided me a number that my pharmacy must call. According to my pharmacy, they tried calling the number provided a few times, but would get transferred and then hung up on repeatedly. This has been a really disappointing experience thus far.

I had a severe allergic reaction to the topical product they prescribed. I had extreme swelling of the glands and lymph nodes, painful mouth and gum swelling, and abscesses and sores throughout my mouth. I have been unable to eat solid food for over a week. These are known possible rare reactions to Azealic acid. They refused to issue a refund. I paid $75 for 3 months of treatment. Only one bottle of the treatment was sent out. They refused to refund even the $50 of medication that I had not received. This is a horrible company that shows zero empathy for customers. I don’t want anyone to go through what I did.

I was having a rosacea type breakout and it was hoping to get oral antibiotics to treat it. They ended up giving me tretinoin as I think that's all they want to sell... It cost $75 per 3 months. I tried it, I appeared to be allergic to it, informed them of this with photos, they suggested I just put lotion on first and avoid my eyes. This issue persisted and ultimately I went to my doctor and got something that worked. I didn't see a way to cancel my autoship but it seemed that without doing another dermatologist consultation they wouldn't be able to refill me anyway. I pushed off the autoship, and now 6 months later after their products only messing up my skin I've been charged another $75. There was no heads up that an auto refill was coming, and I did not consult with a dermatologist. Their policy states that they cannot cancel a prescription once it's in progress and they do not accept returns on prescriptions of course. There is no phone number to call, just a care messenger line, takes days to get back to you. All in all, not freaking worth it.

This business is a scam - they charge you for overpriced medicine without telling you it is NOT covered by insurance and the amount they give you is not adequate for the time period they are claiming to prescribe it for. Additionally it is not even a dermatologist you speak to it's a nurse, who is not qualified to make decisions on specialized health needs.
