Not a suitable company to work for unless practices change
Pros - $86k base (USD) - $3.5k home office (one time) - Microsoft exam reimbursement - 2 wellbeing days/quarter - Wellbeing Mondays (1 hour, optional) - Local holidays - Sick days based on location (legal minimum) - Global collaboration with Apeiron teams + Microsoft employees - Fully remote Cons - Gross mismanagement of contractors - Long hours - Lack of flexibility in schedules disguised as being accommodating - Software vendors can be very difficult to work with, often throwing you under the bus - Sometimes feel like an outsider when working with Microsoft FTEs - Unrealistic quarterly + yearly targets from Microsoft (B2B contracting) - Constantly shifting goalpost internally - No salary increases or bonuses due to "financial constraints"; contradictory to amount being spent in other areas - Lots of politics internally, with Microsoft and with software vendors - Heavily lacking transparency between Apeiron management and their contractors, though they state to do the opposite - Contract states contractors not entitled to any compensation whatsoever outside of monthly salary (contradictory to what actually occurs)
