Andreas Oriano makes quietly considered dresses for women who want pieces that last beyond a single season. The brand is named after our grandfather. He spent his life making clothes for others but never got to build a label of his own. We did, and we named it after him. Every piece we release carries the standard he taught us: quiet design, fabric chosen by feel rather than cost, and the belief that a dress should outlast the season it was made for.We design at our home in New York and work with a small group of makers we trust. Each piece is sampled, refined, and only released when it feels right. We would rather offer a few pieces we are proud of than a hundred we are unsure about. Our collection is built around fabric that earns its place, silhouettes designed to stay in rotation, and a level of care that runs through everything we do. Every order passes through our hands before it leaves, and we still read every email ourselves.Thank you for being part of the story. From our family to yours, welcome to Andreas Oriano.

Scam Chinese company. The dresses fit nothing like the photos. One dress was thigh length in the photo and came down to my ankles when I tried it on. Cheap fabric, they all looked worn and used. If you plan to return you have to cover $50 shipping to China. Nowhere on their site does it indicate they’re based in China. Avoid purchasing anything here.

Don’t buy from here is a scam
Don’t buy from here is a scam! My daughter found this store and she bought a dress for a school dance. The quality is cheap and she receive the wrong size (order a L and received 2Xl) when it was time to return they wanted me to pay the cost to return to an address in China. I wonder if they purposely do that to pretend they are a legit business.

Hopefully you're here before purchasing...
I sure wish I had looked up these reviews before purchasing. This company is a total scam. They portray a generous, seemingly uncomplicated "return" policy on their website. They also proudly list a New York address. The items I ordered were nowhere near the quality of the items advertised on their site. The dresses are paper thin (one even a little see through). When I contacted about returning the items I was provided an address located in China (2nd floor, Building No. 2, Hailian Industrial Park No. 3388 Jichang Road, Haishu District, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province 315000 P.R. China) and informed it would cost roughly $50 to return the items, or they would kindly offer me a 15% refund if I wanted to keep the awful dresses. They also offered a one-time third option if I wanted to exchange the dresses for different items, as if I am to trust that they would miraculously be better quality. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY if you expect the items to look as they do on the website; they're worse than Temu quality without the appropriate price.

I would give zero stars if I could
I would give zero stars if I could. Same experience as others. I was hit by the first scam in the purchasing process where it asks if you want 25% off and then charges you for a second dress. Then I ordered a size M but received XL. Asked to provide photos. I did. Then told I had to mail it back (to China) with about a $50 cost. They also offered 25% off to keep it. Did not want either of those options. I needed the correct size. I went around and around with repeating questions (Heidi Atkinson "customer service" is likely a bot) and told them I was reporting them to BBB and my state's Attorney General's office. MAGICALLY, they offered to send out another one as a "courtesy one time replacement. Guess what, another size XL! They asked for pictures again. I sent them. Their response this time was "sorry, only one free replacement." Even though they still did not send me the size M. As if they did me some kind of favor. I never received what I ordered. Honestly, I think this is a garment factory that has a surplus of XL garments laying around. I gave them weeks and a lot of patience to resolve this and never did. I am now reporting them everywhere I can. I am out the cost I paid for the dress and I am donating the dress to Good Will. Please DO NOT buy from them. Please report them.

SCAM - DO NOT SHOP HERE
An absolutely scam of a “business.” I ordered a dress and emailed 1 day later to cancel the order. They said they would. Then OVER A MONTH LATER, I receive the dress and notice there’s a charge on my card. I reach out to them absolutely flabbergasted that not only did they charge me and send the dress after they said they wouldn’t, but also the audacity to think 1.5 months is “normal” shipping speed. They said they would provide a prepaid label after I sent A photo of the dress. Once I did, they said I would either have to pay $50 for shipping or get a 15% refund to which I said absolutely not - you said you would pay: here’s the exact original message “Once we receive the photos, I’ll be able to document the return properly and escalate your request for the prepaid return arrangement and full refund.”
They then tried to gaslight me saying “I understand how it could have been interpreted as meaning a prepaid return label would be provided.” ….like no. I’m disputing this with my credit card. FAFO.

Public Review — Andreas Oriano Disappointed With the Dresses and Return Experience

Disappointed With the Dresses and Return Experience
I’m sharing my experience with Andreas Oriano because I believe customers deserve an honest picture of what they may receive when ordering online.
I ordered four dresses after seeing the styles presented on the website. Unfortunately, when my order arrived, I was disappointed with the overall quality, construction, finishing, and appearance of the dresses. They did not meet my expectations based on how the garments were presented online.
I noticed concerns with the draping, stitching, fabric, straps, and overall finishing of the dresses. I have included photos of the actual dresses I received so customers can see them for themselves, along with a screenshot documenting the four dresses I ordered.
Because I was not satisfied with the items, I requested to return the dresses and receive a refund. The return process added to my frustration, as I expected the matter to be handled more simply and professionally.
I understand that online purchases can sometimes look different in person. However, customers should be able to reasonably expect the product they receive to reflect the quality and appearance represented on the website.
I’m not posting this review to be disrespectful. I’m sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision before placing an order.
Photos included:
📸 Black dress — front: Actual dress received, showing the overall construction and draping.
📸 Black dress — back: Shows the back design and how the fabric falls on the garment.
📸 Floral dress: Actual dress received, showing the fabric, construction, and overall appearance.
📸 Burgundy dress: Actual dress received, showing the draping and finished appearance.
📸 Order screenshot: Documents the four dresses, colors, and sizes that were ordered.
I hope Andreas Oriano takes this feedback seriously and considers improving quality control, product presentation, and the customer return experience.

I really wish I would have read the…
I really wish I would have read the reviews before wasting my $100 for a dress worth $5 at Goodwill. And I hope this saves someone their time and money. Websites should be required to disclose where they are shipping from. I was shopping for a wedding and when I ordered this dress and it was very close to the wedding date. Once I completed the purchase, I received a text from my credit card company of an international charge. First red flag. I immediately emailed Andreas that I would like to cancel as I was afraid it would not arrive in time. I received a responsive email back that if it hasn't moved to ship and it could be stopped, then they could cancel and she would get back to me. Never heard back. I received the dress with a few days to spare. Thankfully. Because this was the cheapest looking dress I have ever seen. It was completely sheer, even through the layers. It was missing the ruched bodice advertised on their website, so it was just flat with no detail. AND I ordered a medium and received 2XL. I emailed Andreas to initiate a refund as they state on their website. She asked for pictures. I sent three, including the size tag. She replied that they could offer me 15% refund and keep the dress, or send it back at my cost ($40-$50 international) and they will inspect it to approve a refund. This is wrong on so many levels: 1) aside from the poor quality, THEY sent the wrong size! Why am I paying for anything? 2) Because of how misleading their website is, how am I to trust they will approve a refund after me spending an additional $50 in shipping? Their refund policy states the dress has to be in its original packaging (it was a postal bag) and the tags attached (there were no tags). So they could easily say "no tags, no refund". This place is a complete scam. Do not be fooled by their nice website and pretty dresses on the screen. They really don't look like that anyway. I did report this to my credit card company and they are working on it. Because they did send me the wrong size and are trying to make ME pay for their mistake. No thanks.

If I could rate this with zero stars I…
If I could rate this with zero stars I would. The dress I received the one of the most poorly constructed pieces of Sh*t I have ever seen. It was cheap, horrible material, terrible zipper and I received the wrong size. It was 128 dollars. I went to return the item and they gave me a huge run around of offering another dress. I asked for money back and did EVERYTHING they asked for. I sent a picture of the dress, paid for the shipping back to CHINA, sent them the tracking number and everything. I have yet to receive a refund and I’m getting asked to send the same information over and over. This isn’t just a poorly rated online boutique, it’s 10000% a pure SCAM. Please buyer beware.
