Paid $500, no Wikipedia page, no refund
I paid American Wiki Pro $500 to create and publish a Wikipedia page for my company. Before I paid, their representative reviewed my company's online presence and assured me that we qualified. I was also promised a full refund if they couldn't get the page published within three months. For several weeks, communication was good and the process seemed to be moving forward. But after three months, no page had been published. Instead, they suddenly claimed I lacked sufficient citations and offered to do additional work for an extra fee. I declined and requested the refund I had been promised. Since then, their responses dwindled and eventually stopped altogether. I still have no Wikipedia page and no refund. I paid for a service based on specific assurances, and when those assurances weren't met, the company stopped responding. Based on my experience, I would advise others to be very cautious before paying them.
